Byose was hit by two of the beams, the third passing through his chest which was mostly steam at that point. Byose glared back with whirling eyes of death, he didn't have much left in him, but if he played his cards right that mech would go before he did.
The water being let his body turn into pure steam, pulling all the water he could from the surroundings to make his form stronger. Then he blazed forwards, floating across the ground to charge Riptide who was at the time aiming dead center at the demigod.
Byose pulled his steam body down just in time to avoid the blast before shooting back up, forming his massive steam body into a large blade.
The steam cut into the robot's side, filling every crack and nook with the water vapor as Byose tried to use his to take out the parts inside that blasted machine with steam hot enough to melt flesh and bone into mush.

"WARNING! WARNING! INTERNAL TEMPERATURE RISING RAPIDLY. DAMAGE TO CIRCUITRY IMMINENT."
"Dammit, what's the point of having this armor if he keep bypassing it?"
Ben was running out of both options and time. Acting purely on instinct, he did the only thing he could think of. The hidden booster engines roared to life as the machine ascended into the heavens, literally this time, as Riptide kept going higher nd higher. Byose's steam form quickly began to solidify as the the ambient temperature dropped all around them. Riptide's altitude continued to increase...30,000 feet...40,000 feet...50,000 feet...
Higher and higher they spiraled until finally, atmosphere gave way to the empty black reaches of space. In zero gravity and ultra-low temperature's Byose could not reform with no water around, could not control his movements, could not mount any sort of offensive at all for that matter. Ice crystals drifted out of the open wound in Riptide's flank. When Ben was certain that nothing remained inside to damage the circuitry, he opened fire with the ANECs and Super NOVA, seeking to vaporize Byose into nothingness. Ice turned to steam and vapor before returning to solid ice, yet still Byose managed to hold some semblance of a form, even in space. The control he exhibited over his chosen form was remarkable.
"Prepare Riptide for re-entry."
"Alert. Re-entry may cause additional damage to circuitry."
"Duly noted. That's what those wings are for at least. Having a giant heat shield helps."
"Confirmed. Now initiating re-entry sequence."
Riptide's legs tucked into the machine's chest, as the giant wings, normally retracted, swung forward to cover Riptide's front end. Booster engines glowed with life as Ben shot straight forward, plowing through the cloud that was Byose. He fully intended to leave the water monster to die here in orbit. Riptide began to rock as the machine the undertook the arduous task of entering Earth's atmosphere. But, despite all the computer's warnings, Riptide made it through safely. Steam rolled off the wings as the unfurled, and the retro-rockets kicked in, slowing the machine's descent.
"Looks like that takes care of that."
"Alert! Bogey detected at bearing one-eight-zero and closing fast!"
"WHAT?!"
Riptide whipped around and was met with an awesome and terrible sight. Byose had somehow managed to hitch a ride back to earth, and the water elemental was pissed. A massive storm of swirling water bore down on the machine, howling like a demon.
"SHIT!"
Riptide rolled to the right, as Byose barreled past, before firing off another blast from the ANECs, tearing apart the elemental's new form with the same ease as before. Byose countered with another ice beam, catching Riptide's left arm this time, freezing it in place for the moment.
"Fast drop! We've got to land before this thing makes us land, and hard."
Riptide zoomed down, trying to avoid the attacks of the water demi-god and occasionally taking both shots back at its pursuer. Byose took a few hits before the ground loomed before Ben with startling suddenness.
"Retro-rockets, now!"
Riptide's retro-rockets burned hard and fast, causing the machine to slow down faster than Byose could stop, as the water monster slammed into the ground, with Riptide landing a few hundred feet away. Yet still, Byose arose, towering over trees, roaring with the primal fury of the ocean surge.
"Jeez, this thing will not quit," Ben yelled as he fired off more rounds from the ANECs...

(It's been great fighting with yah, Omega. *salutes*)
Byose charged like a tidal wave, all his power into this rush to try and end this meddlesome human once and for all, leaving him free to finally purge the near by city. Riptide pulled up it's arms, using it's frozen arm to take the brunt of the demigod's attack, gears ground and bolts screamed as the robot was pushed several meters.
Byose knew his attack failed in ending the mecha, but he pushed on, causing sparks to shoot from the many gashes as the two threw their weight against the other.
The unstoppable human spirit inside the chest of Ben and the insane murderous drive of the demigod clashed, for the time being the king of the oceans was winning, shoving the machine across the ground, but all the while his body crashing against the upheld arms of Riptide slowly melted the ice.
Finally the ice fell from the arm and Riptide stabbed it's blades into the mass of water, shattering the wave into droplets.
Ben took a moment to gasp out, the shear power of the attack had the human holding his breath as he trained the lasers on the slowly building body of Byose.
The demigod formed a shield of ice at just the right moment, saving his quickly decreasing divine energy, though weakened he still had fight left.
One arm formed into a drill, partly made of pure ice and partly scalding steam, this would be the weapon which would end the one known as Riptide along with the human Ben! The mech had just enough time to fire his boosters and try dodge the incoming drill which already spun at extreme speeds.
Byose struck the robot's chest, knocking it and it's pilot out of the air while ripping through the chest plate with frightening ease. In a bright flash half of the water being vanished in steam, a close ranged beam blast ending the drill attack. Riptide braced itself as the demigod stared it down, optics and whirlpools locking as both tried to figure out if the other could stand a moment longer.

Wow, this was an interesting battle of weaknesses. Byose used his freezing weapons very effectively, helping him stop Riptide from exploiting his weakness. But boy, when Riptide could unload... he messed up Byose. That weakness plus the strength level they had really helped keepy Riptide in the game and not fall behind. I'm gonna call this a tie. Both monsters strategically used their foe's weakness against them, and in the end, both did relatively similar damage, despite Byose have weaker attacks. Both of you receive 150 MP. You may post retreats now. I apologize for the wait, but I will assure you that the bank will not be updated until you place that MP in.

Byose summoned up what remained of his power "I will return...again and again and again and...again...." his voice drifting into nothingness as his body just seemed to fade away, the water being reabsorbed back into the air. Later it would form a raincloud and somewhere the ocean demigod would be reborn, with full strength and ready to attack the humans.
It may take him hundreds of years, but he will return to kill off the descendants of this human, never stopping in his quest, he could only be delayed. Now the question was, how much time had this human bought his race before the divine wrath of Byose flowed as freely as any stream.

"Energy field neutralized. Target destruction confirmed."
"Whew," Ben sighed as he slumped in his seat. "Initiate damage assessment and prepare for departure. Let's go home."
"Affirmative. Beginning diagnostic scans now."
While the computer scanned the internal components for critical systems, Ben activated the booster engines and Riptide slowly climbed into the sky and headed home after a hard fought battle.
((OOC: Great fight there Raven. You really pushed me to the limit.))
