Hakminra brought his knee up and smacked Arach away, doing no damage but freeing him from danger. Hakminra got up as Arach fire his two attacks. Hakminra quickly ducked. His headache was settling so his telekinesis was back.
"The humans have honored my homeland. I must defend them from the likes of you!"
Hakminra changed his staff to a sword and jumped into the air. The sword was brought down hard on the dragon, leaving a deep gash in his back. Arach roared in pain. Hakminra laughed as Arach lay on the ground.
Arach suddenly sprung up at Hakminra, cutting him in the arm and knocking him over. Hakminra returned to his feet and swiftly fired a the Power of Ra. The beam hit Arach in the side with buried shrapnel. Arach flew back and the beam burnt and drove shrapnel deeper. Arach spasmed and his wings took him off, causing him to awkwardly fly around the city.
Hakminra's staff was a spear. He watched as the dragon flew around him. As his chance approached Hakminra drew his arm back. Arach flew right overhead and Hakminra through, the spear went through Arach's already badly wounded neck. The dragon fell to the ground, twitching. Hakminra walked over and pulled the spear out.
Arach looked up at him as Hakminra held a battle axe swinging down at his shoulder...

Arach's fore-paws flew up to catch the shaft of the ax. Arach began to rise slowly shoving the battle-axe back. Hakminra felt his feet sliding behind him as the dragon pushed him back. Arach's rage was still forthcoming, yet his mind was still not gone. He remembered something, he had smelled something before when one of the bright signs smashed against him. And the struggle continued with Arach still advancing yet making no attack on Hakminra.
Arach grunted "They honor homeland... No honor you!" And with that he pushed Hakminra even harder, gritting his teeth through the pain in his back.
Hakminra suddenly found himself surrounded by several bright neon signs of the strip, when Arach released forth a flame, Hakminra moved his head out of the way receiving a mere burn on his cheek. But suddenly he heard several loud cracks. He saw that the neon signs around him had been super heated and cracked to release the neon gas within them. Hakminra began asphyxiate in the cloud of inert gas. He became dizzy. He kicked out at Arach and sent him tumbling several steps back. Hakminra stumbled forward under the effects of the gas.
Arach Roared a deafening thunder at Hakminra. Hakminra sank to his knees under the lingering effects of the oxygen deprivation combined with the return of the sonic induced head ache. His staff lay in front of him, and he began to reach for it. Arach saw this and leaped on top of Hakminra. The staff meant pain in Arach's eyes; Arach clamped his jaw down on Hakminra's leg and felt blood ooze out of the wound, but then felt him self shoved off by Hakminra's other appendages.
Hakminra attempted to rise and brought his staff to him with his telekinesis. He pushed himself to the ground and went to fire a laser beam into Arach's thorax, yet Arach was closer to him than he had planned for. The laser beam shot into the air as Arach grabbed the staff once more. Arach spun the staff and felt it break free of Hakminra's grasp and Hakminra lost balance on his hurt leg. Arach sensed his opponent's moment of weakness jumped with claws and flame ready to strike...

(Sorry about the wait. I'll try not to let that happen again.)
Hakminra was not going to let this attack have any effect on him. As Arach was in the air, Hakminra punched him in the jaw and used his other arm to throw him behind him. The flame went off in the sky. Hakminra picked himself up and pulled his staff to his hand with telekinesis. Hakminra ignored his leg pain and changed his staff to a sword with blades on both ends.
As Arach got up, Hakminra got an idea instead of using his staff as a melee weapon. He would use his telekinesis to make his weapon a projectile. Hakminra lifted the double bladed staff into the air with telekinesis, and then started to make it spin. As the staff started to spin faster and faster, Arach started to back Hakminra away. Hakminra stepped back as the staff spun at tornado speeds. Suddenly, the staff shot out at the approaching Arach. It grazed his face, left a very deep gash in his shoulder, and dug through his back.
Arach collapsed in pain, a pool of blood forming around his body. Hakminra brought his staff back to him and changed it to a torch. The dragon managed to perform an unexpected flamethrower from the ground which charred Hakminra's leg. Hakminra winced, but at the same time fired a napalm shower at Arach, setting him on fire.
Hakminra changed the staff to a spear again, and drove it through the downed dragon's new shoulder wound. Hakminra shoved it through the other side of his shoulder, and then pulled it out, changing it back to the torch.
Hakminra prepared to fire the napalm down the shoulder wound...

[Sorry for the delay in response, I had finals ] Hakminra and Arach had slowly been moving in their fighting around the bubble to the point where they were only a few blocks away from the beach front. Arach saw the waves and thought quickly, his long neck snapped around so that his jaws clamped onto the staff of Hakminra. He snapped the staff out of Hakminra's hands and sprung from the ground using his hind legs while samcking Hakminra back with his tail. Arach then glided to the water's edge, where he then submerged himself. He found a massive sunken cruise ship there, it was at least three times longer than Arach himself and probably exponentially heavier. Arach made a tear in the front of the boat and rammed the staff into the ship. He then used the last bit of surface air in his lungs to create a blast of heat to refuse the metal where the tear was. Arach's wounds stung from the salt water but he felt at home in the sea as well. Hakminra recovered in time to see Arach's tail slithering into the waves. He grabbed a truck to throw at Arach but couldn't see him in the murky waters. Suddenly the sand below him began to shift, he jumped to the side and threw the car to where he had been standing thinking he had found Arach buried beneath him. Then he realized the ground under where he was now was also shaking. Hakminra looked out to sea and saw a massive wave coming at him; Arach was going at supersonic speeds underwater causing the water around him to displace in a giant wave. Arach peeled off before crashing to the shore but the wave kept going and the wave ended up smashing into Hakminra. Hakminra opened his eyes to find himself with an angry dragon bellowing in his face. His staff was gone, and the most he knew of its location was that it resided in the water. His body ached from being thrashed by the wave and his head was pounding from the dragon's roar. Arach was no longer on top of Hakminra, he had flown to the other side of the bubble and found something of curiousity, a gas line. It was open and leaking and Arach looked at the line then into the bubble and then at Hakminra. Arach made a sound that can only be described as the equivalent to a cackle, and then he ignited the gas line. Arach watched as explosions ripped through the city around him in a ripple, he watched the path of fires and explosions as it rippled through the enclosed bubble shield causing those in it to be burned or slowly suffocated. Hakminra writhed in pain and helplessness from the aches of his body and mind. He noticed a bright color on the sign next to him and so focusing through the sounds of explosions coming closer and closer he saw "WARNING: Gas Reservoir" He tilted his head back to see how close the explosions were and saw them explode a block away, then he looked back at the sign and his expression became one of horror...

What happened next played out perfectly for Hakminra. As the explosions came even closer, he managed to use telekinesis to bend the gas line infront of him to the right. The pipe was actually bent very close to another gas line. Close enough to redirect the explosions. It worked. The explosions stopped going to the reservoir, and started ripping through cheap hotels and apartment buildings. The explosions also went through the gas line underwater. The next thing that happened was a miracle, for Hakminra at least. The cruise ship happened to be sitting upon another gas reservoir. There was an explosion. Water and debris shot up from under the surface. Hakminra looked at the ocean and saw his staff suddenly rise from the surface.
Arach flew over top of the shield and pounced on Hakminra, slashing his legs. Hakminra shook him off and flew over the water halfway to his floating staff. He used telekinesis to retrieve it. As Arach prepared to fly toward Hakminra, Hakminra noticed Arach's position, right on thee gas reservoir. Hakminra shot a laser beam, which caused the reservoir to explode. Arach flew helplessly back over the bubble shield.
Hakminra turned his staff to an axe, and flew over to Arach, who lay there, unaware of Hakminra's presence. Hakminra quickly took a humongous slice into Arach's back, peeling a chunk of flesh off. Hakminra pulled his staff away as Arach arose from the ground out of anger. He and Hakminra went at it some more and eventually reached Lake Mead.
In 1948, a B29 Superfortress crashed into the giant reservoir. The crashed plane was unexpectedly about to be used as a weapon. Arach slipped and fell into the lake, and quickly surfaced holding the back of the plane. It was thrown at Hakminra who dodged it. As Arach came to shore, Hakminra used telekinesis to pick up the front half of the plane. He used it as an imitation kamikaze toward Arach. The plane hit him and sent him underwater, to drown...

Arach floated down through the water and then he hit the bottom. He lay there, stunned but not dead. The wounds on his body were healing, and the fresh water felt nice to his aching self. He released the last bit of oxygen from his lungs, and allowed the water to flow into his throat and pass over his gills. He lay there for a moment, and thought to himself. His body was recovering and within a few minutes he rose towards the surface of the lake and looked up through the surface. Hakminra stood staring coldly at the depths; he was under the assumption that he had won.
Arach sank back and watched. Hakminra sat down and appeared to be reflecting but still tense and ready to fight. Arach was ready to be patient, he had lived for many many millenia so far and most of them were spent waiting. Then Hakminra stretched his arms wide, and with that Arach sprang into action. He burst from the water like a bullet. His paws clamped Hakminra down. Arach blew a stream of fire down Hakminra's throat.
Then Arach roared into Hakminra's face making the splitting head ache return. Arach held Hakminra tightly as he flew into the air. Arach's motions were precise and accurate with his mind and body refreshed from the water. Arach flung Hakminra into Lake Mead at sonic speeds, and then dove in after him. Arach shoved Hakminra to the bottom of the lake, pinned him with his staff pointed away, and prepared to bite Hakminra's head off...

Hakminra watched as the dragon's mouth opened wide. He had to act now, or he would be killed. He wouldn't let that happen though. If he were dead, that means no more revenge, and he loves revenge. Hakminra quickly used telekinesis to lift a huge glob of soggy sand from the ground. The glob was shoved down Arach's throat, causing him to sart choking. At that moment, Hakminra returned to his feet.
With Arach down and holding his throat, Hakminra brought his staff, which was now an axe again, up and then down, on Arach's shoulders. Blood rose up from the water and so did Hakminra. He got on shore and looked at his location. The two were appearing to becoming closer to a wall that looked as if it stopped the water. Oh well, he'd find out what it is later. Arach came out of Lake Mead, struggling to stand on his front legs and still trying to get the mud out of his throat.
Hakminra drew the dragon closer and closer to the wall, and then realized that the other side of the wall was much, much larger than the side he had already seen. There was a large sign that read 'HOOVER DAM.' Hakminra thought maybe he could take this to his advantage. Arach managed to get a flamethrower to hit the Egyptian in the back. Hakminra shook it off and changed his staff to a sword. Arach tried to pounce on Hakminra, but instead was stabbed in the stomach and flung off the dam and onto the building at the bottom.
Hakminra used telekinesis to float down to Arach. The dragon was obviously injured pretty badly because he wasn't getting up. Hakminra looked at the water and saw a current coming from a building. A row of generators lined the building, and Hakminra could tell they were causing the current. He got an idea. He used telekinesis to speed up the turbines's process, making the current to become huge. Hakminra then knocked some rocks from the mountains into the river to block the current from escaping. He kicked a rock in and saw that was being sucked underwater and thrown about like a washing machine. Perfect. Next, Hakminra took a giant gas tank, and broke it in the current. He ran over to the downed Arach, and pushed him. The swirling current was ignited with napalm, and Hakminra couldn't help but laugh as Arach was being violently thrashed around in the current of burning gas.
All He had to do now was wait for the dragon to die...

Arach swung his fore paws wildly in an attempt to stop the centrifugal spinning forces. His claws found purchase all of a sudden on the rock pile Hakminra had created to block the river. He gripped tightly, resisting the pull of the current. The rock above his grip was loose, that was the reason he had found purchase on the rock wall. The burning gas had cauterized his wounds, his muscles were still intact fortunately because of his thick hide. Arach whipped his tail up under the loose boulder and shoved it forward, making a hole for the water to escape through. The water blasted through the hole, the entire current system that had been thrashing Arach moments before was rearranged to blast the water out. Arach scuttled through the burning water to the top of the boulder made dam beyond the Hoover Dam.
Hakminra saw the water spurting out and didn't see Arach slither up onto the boulders. Arach's memory flashed back to a night, many of the humans stood before him, some with swords and some with bows & arrows, some in metal suits on horse back. They shot and charged at him, to little avail. Then a machine came out, it had a basket on one end of a stick with a rock in it and a weight on the other end. The humans used it to launch the rocks at him. So Arach took a boulder and wrapped the end of his tail around it, he proceeded to launch it through the air and hit Hakminra square in the chest.
Hakminra stumbled back, to feel seconds later the sonic boom of Arach going past his head. Hakminra saw Arach flying back in his direction and changed his staff to a spear and prepared to impale the dragon. Arach landed on the ground and ducked under the spears reach. He wrapped Hakminra in a bear hug and spewed flame into his face, blinding him. Arach carried Hakminra over the edge and onto the boulder made dam. Arach shoved Hakminra's head into the stream of water spewing out. Hakminra couldn't force his mouth closed and the still burning gasoline water mixture filled his throat and lungs and stomach, if he didn't escape soon he would drown and be cremated from the inside out...

Hakminra brought his knee up and hit Arach in the gut. The dragon fell into the river, still holding Hakminra by the head, causing him to fall in too. Hakminra surfaced first, spitting fire out through his bandage wrapping. Arach then surfaced, ending the brief intermission of the fight.
Arach tried to jump at Hakminra to bite him, but was swatted away by his staff. The dragon wasn't hurt by that, but was now facing the other direction. Hakminra turned his staff to a spear, and stabbed it through Arach's tail, making him temporarily stuck. Hakminra used this oppurtunity to make a large boulder fall off the cliff side onto Arach's head. The badly injured Arach fell into the water, which was slowly rising. Hakminra turned to see what was left of his makeshift dam. Another large rock fell out, releasing more flaming water. He had to get out of there before the whole river broke through.
Hakminra grabbed his bloodied staff and tele-flighted (I don't know if that's the correct term) up to the top of the massive Hoover Dam. He stood there, taking a moment to recover. As he looked down, his makeshift dam completely burst open, filling up the half empty river to the top. Arach was carried downstream, as Hakminra's wounds healed. Suddenly, Arach shot up from the water and flew at supersonic speeds toward Hoover Dam. When he reached it he ran up the side to the top. Hakminra was pinned and bit in the arm. Arach opened his mouth again. Hakminra shoved his staff down the dragon's throat and fired napalm. Arach choked in pain.
The fight was now moving back through Lake Mead. Hakminra switched his staff to its main ruby form. Arach was swooping out of the sky when he was smacked in the chest by the Power of Ra. He was charred, and in pain. The fight continued and the two combatants had moved out of the Lake Mead area, and back toward Sin City.
Hakminra prepared another Power of Ra as the two moved the fight into Nellis Air Force Base...

Arach had learned the signs that came before the Power of Ra by now and he figured out when it would fire. The beam charged Hakminra and Arach in an apparent showdown, then Arach jumped the beam going mere meters beneath him. Jets were scrambling to confront the two kaijus, F-15s armed missiles and fired on both monsters. One missile hit Arach before he recognized the jets as a threat. Two more impacted before he could respond. Hakminra was receiving a similar beating from the Air Force. Arach began swatting the jets out of the air but there were dozens of them.
The idea came to him and Arach began to spin. He spread his wings and once again created the vortex, Hakminra felt himself being caught in the invisible force. The jets were doomed to be caught in the swirling air. The missiles they had fired were caught in the vortex as well, and Hakminra was being hit with the missiles and the jets, both of which exploded on impact. Arach stopped, the surrounding area was decimated from the winds. Hakminra staggered forward, dizzy from the force of the winds. Arach spoke once more "See? You are their monster, they fear you and attack you and you still protect them, they do not deserve your honor!" Arach had crept closer and his speech began to crescendo into a roar. The blast hitting Hakminra full on, knocking him back.
Hakminra sprang forward within seconds with battle axe ready to strike and Arach managed to shift himself in time to fell the brunt blow of the shaft on his shoulder instead of the deadly blade. Arach was hurt but this was his oppurtunity to strike, his refuse gases were stored in a compartment at the base of his neck and what he had used so far was but a portion of them. He released his firey breath unto Hakminra for a long enough time to coat Hakminra in flame. Hakminra shoved him away with the blunt end of the axe. Arach circled around Hakminra and sprang on to him. Arach wrapped his paws around the body of Hakminra along the edges of the fire, he wrapped his tail around Hakminra's legs and he poised his fangs to bite into Hakminra's skull.

At that moment an Apache chopper launched a volley of Hellfire missiles onto Arach's head. He let go of Hakminra and sprang at the helicopter. The attack was brief, but it was enough time for Hakminra to get up and prepare to make an attack on the distracted dragon. He looked around and found a large propane tank. Arach jumped at another chopper with his mouth open. This became an idea.
Arach finished off the remaining chopper and turned to see that Hakminra was holding the propane tank. He noticed the resemblence between the tank and the tanker truck from earlier in the battle he wasn't going to let that trick work on him. Arach jumped at Hakminra, mouth open and ready to bite. This was perfect for the Egyptian chimera. As Arach managed to get a slash to Hakminra's arms, Hakminra jammed the propane tank in Arach's mouth. As Arach tried to spit it out, Hakminra shook him off, walked away, and then shot flamethrower at the tank. BOOM! As the smoke cleared, it became visible that Arach wasn't dead, and his head was still intact. Shrapnel was imbedded all through his mouth though, causing extreme pain.
Hakminra ran over in frusteration, for Arach was not dead yet. He got close to his face and shouted,"My revenge will be shown upon the flying metal beasts after it is shown upon you!" With that, Hakminra changed his staff to the torch, and shoved it down his throat. Napalm was shot into Arach. Hakminra pulled his staff out as the dragon roared in pain from being internally burnt.
Hakminra observed his surroundings. Nothing useful was seen until he turned his gaze to the Nellis Air Force Base Solar power plant. He had seen one of these in Egypt before and knew what they did. He noticed the sun's position was directly above him. The time of day where the most power is generated. Arach managed to walk over toward him. Hakminra drew him toward the tower in the center of the solar panels. As Arach struggled while still being burnt, the two were approaching the tower. They finally reached it, and Hakminra grabbed the injured Arach by the head. Arach was shoved into the tower, and sparks flew everywhere. The dragon was being electrocuted, and as long as the sun was high in the sky, he would continue to be electrocuted. All the shrapnel in his body was also acting as a conductor, making it worse.
Hakminra's wounds were healing, while Arach's were growing worse and worse. Now it was time to wait for death to come upon Arach...

The electricity was coursing through Arach causing an instinctual reaction in him. When a sea serpent was attacked by any creature and is being held in a grip it will thrash about attempting to free it self or injure the other animal. The difference between Arach and a sea serpent is quite obvious but a similar reaction occurred. Arach thrashed and twisted his tail sweeping the ground and in the process, smashing the mirrors. Arach flared his wings out attempting to use them as appendages to defend himself. The mirrors surrounding Arach were obliterated, which had decreased enough of the current to let Arach think through the pain. He opened his wings and flapped while pulling his head back. Hakminra watched in awe, stunned at Arach's thrashing and his reaction to the electrical current.
Arach's head popped free from the tower and he turned to stare at Hakminra. Bloody, in pain, and dishonored Arach stood their. The shrapnel in his mouth fell loose during the thrashing. His eyes stared down Hakminra. Arach began to vent fire into his mouth, heating the pieces of shrapnel. Hakminra saw the fire in Arach's mouth and expected a blast from the flames so he brought his staff up to use the Power of Ra. Arach jumped into the air and released a sonic roar at Hakminra. Hakminra laughed at the apparently pitiful attempt at harming him, that is until the superheated shrapnel pierced into him. Nellis Air Force base stood around the two behemoths as they trudged on in their battle. Arach took the moment of respite from Hakminra's pain to regenerate a little. His mouth wounds feeling much better and his insides returning towards normalcy.
Hakminra's insides felt like they were on fire and they almost literally were. He looked up expecting to see Arach ready to kill him. Instead he saw the ruins of the base. The base was aflame and in chaos. As the chimera gazed upon this sight, Arach slashed him across the back with his fore-paw. Hakminra turned around reflexively batting Arach away with his staff but not doing any true damage. Arach jumped away and took to the air. He flew away for a moment and then doubled back at Mach 2. He tackled into Hakminra, sending the chimera flying. Arach stormed over to the crater caused by Hakminra's impact. Arach held above his head a B-1 bomber, he threw it at Hakminra's stunned body, the bomber happened to be fully fueled and loaded with conventional explosions...

Hakminra's body may have been stunned, but his mind wasn't. He had enough power in his head to use telekinesis. Luckily, Hakminra's staff was lying on the ground in sword form. As the massive plane was coming closer, the staff shot up by itself and caught it by the back. The plane was brought down slowly by telekinesis to the side of the crater. Arach was distracted by the floating staff while Hakminra got up.
Arach noticed him standing and took off to the skies, obviously planning attack. At this moment, Hakminra used his earthquake attack. The reason for this was to shake the shrapnel out of him. It also caused the remaining buildings of Nellis to come crumbling down. Arach was now coming down, straight at Hakminra, mouth opened and claws outstretched. Hakminra remembered what to do now from the beginning of the battle. Again, a spear was formed. Arach was impaled through the chest. It went all the way through his back. He still managed to bite Hakminra's shoulder, though.
As Arach slid off the spear, he coughed up some blood. He slumped down as the blood trickled down his neck and his stomach. No major organs were permanantly damaged, just a gut impalement. Hakminra charged up the Power of Ra to full power, and waited for a chance. Arach opened his mouth to cough. Bad idea. The stream of corona power shot right into the dragon's throat. He roared in pure pain as a stream of blood shot out with the beams force from the impalement wound.
Arach somehow pulled together the strength to pounce on Hakminra. He wrapped his arms around the chimera. Hakminra fidgeted to get out of his grasp and then suddenly used his powerful heat pulse to blast him away. Arach lay there, alive, but badly injured. Hakminra let his wounds heal a bit, and then prepared to finish the dragon.
Several propane tanks remained at the destroyed base. Hakminra got his distance, and picked them up with telekinesis. They all hovered to the area above Arach. A squirt of napalm was shortly behind, as the tanks fell down toward the dragon...

Arach fueled himself with the rage and indignity of being speared and bashed like some child's play thing. His instincts took over his body and he sprang away from the falling tanks like a snake. He screeched in pain from the wound on his back but he couldn't let himself be stopped now. The tanks exploded behind him and he turned to face into the smoke opposite of Hakminra. Arach sprang from the darkness and surprised Hakminra. Hakminra sidestepped Arach's tackle but the dragon swung his neck around and bit down into Hakminra's side, his long fangs piercing the chimera. The dragon used his momentum to continue his assault. He planted his feet into the ground and the energy was transferred from his moving body into Hakminra's causing the chimera to be flung into the air.
Arach launched from the ground and hugged onto Hakminra midflight. They flew to 3000 feet with Hakminra struggling but Arach was holding on tightly to Hakminra and then Arach cackled "Look at the human dwellings, aren't the flames beautiful?" And before Hakminra could say a word he was falling. Hakminra fell to fast and to short a distance to stop himself with his telekinesis but he managed to twist him self upright. He landed on his feet, which immediately collapsed from under him. The shock of the impact was taken by the chimera's legs. They were weak now and his mind blind in pain.
Arach landed next to the chimera and lifted the great kaiju once more into the air. Hakminra was in shock from the impact and his staff slipped from his hands. Arach flew back into Lake Mead and dove down to the bottom. He dropped Hakminra on the bottom and before the chimera could rise Arach began to spin in the water. His wings created a centrifugal force and also creating a whirlpool. The water was shoved down and out. Arach's head was just below the surface of the whirlpool. The water while forming a shell around Arach sent its pressure straight down on Hakminra. The chimera was being crushed and drowned...
