((OOC: You're not allowed to use finisher attacks during the regular course of combat. Only when you're actually killing a monster))
The stinger just barely missed Carcharius as the shark dove low, headbutting Baphropod and lifting the crustacean bodily off the ground so he could take a bite out of the thing's guts. Baphropod screeched in agony as blood oozed from the gaping wound in his belly, before he crashed back to the ground, Carcharius on top of him, his fangs burrowing into the softer, unarmored portions of his prey.
Myston approached from behind, but a quick lash from Carcharius's tail sent him staggering away with another bleeding gash across his chest. Myston fired his laser, striking Carcharius in the back, but the shark ignored it as he smashed his head into Baphropod's underside again. The crustacean was writhing and twistng, but Carcharius had him where he wanted him, and this time, he wasn't getting away. Anti-coagulant dripped from his maw as he prepared to take another bite out of Baphropod...

Seeing Carcharius preoccupied with Baphropod, Myston steps in for a free shot, slamming his knees into the shark's ribcage, rattling his insides and knocking him off Baphropod.
Myston looks at the downed Crustacean, and simply lets off an Aura Disc at point blank range, the attack hitting Baphropod so quickly that it doesn't even have time to break into smaller orbs, causing one massive explosion that consumed his entire under half.
Amazingly, the few seconds it took Myston to turn his attention to Baphropod was all Carcahrius needed to overcome the sudden shock of the attack and slash Myston with his tail.
Myston's mind prepared counter measures even as blood sprayed from his gut. The moment Carcharius turned to face him, he slammed his foot into Carcharius' throat with a superkick that would have made Shawn Michaels himself envious.
Carcahrius fell to the ground, his battered trachea trying in vain to take okygen into his body. Myston prepared another Aura Disc, aiming it square at the mutant shark...

Baphropod watched as the shark and alien went at it. He was letting his spines grow back and his hemotoxin to refill. He knew it would take too long to regain all of his poison, but he'd settle for half.
Baphropod got up, shot a spine through Carcharius's face, just missing the eyes and brain, and roared. Carcharius was on the ground when Myston turned to Baphropod. He launched a horn beam at Baphropod who quickly ducked. Baphropod ran at Myston and tackled him. He started rapidly punching Myston. Myston was thrashing about but he couldn't get up. He just kept taking Baphropod's blows. Baphropod was doing incredible damage to Myston's face. He finally stopped and then shot a spine through Myston's chest, missing his vital organs, but causing great pain.
Baphropod ran over to the downed shark and started punching him rapidly too. The shark managed to shake him off and get up only to be knocked back down. Baphropod injected some more hemotoxin into the shark and then smashed him twice with his tail.
Baphropod had both claws open. He was ready to tear the shark open...
(Yeah, sorry about the finisher. It was late at night and I was sort of out of it. I just assumed that Carcharius would dodge it.)

Yes, keep in mind for the future that finishers are ONLY used to... well, finish off monsters.
One more post from each of you.

Carcharius snarled as Baphropod ripped more flesh from bone, but still didn't feel any pain from it. But that wasn't the problem now. Even his own impressive stamina was finally waning. His body was being taxed to the limits, and if this didn't end soon, it would be over.
Carcharius lashed out at Baphropod, snagging the crustacean in his talons before rending gashes in the armored flesh of his opponent. Baphropod continued to bleed as Carcharius clamped down on him with his jaws, crushing more armor and injecting anti-coagulant into the wounds, furthering the blood loss. His assault was cut short as Myston managed to land a punch on his flank, knocking him aside and redirecting the mutant's attention.
Carcharius lunged at Myston, taking a bite out of his sie before whipping around, intent on slashing his razor sharp tailfin across the alien's midsection...

Myston grunted as the tail fin slashed across him, and he countered by shoving his hand right in Carcahrius' face, and then firing an Aura Disc, the energy projectile pushing him back a small distance before consuming his face in an explosion.
Turning to Baphropod, Myston jumped in and flipped, bringing his knee right into the face of the mutant before following up with a horn beam, striking the chest.
Baphropod screeched and slammed Myston with his claw. But Myston would not relent, he prepared another powerful punch to connect...
(Take us home Stealth, let's end this sumbitch with a bang!)

Baphropod quickly maneuvered away from the punch and struck Myston with his own. Myston knew he had to end this battle, but what he didn't know was that he was about to be injected with a stream of hemotoxin. Myston screamed as more of the toxin surged through his body. Since Myston was vulnerable against poisons, it hurt worse than it would for any other kaiju.
Baphropod was swiftly kicked in the side, but he came back with a claw swipe, tearing a strip of flesh off of Myston's stomach. Suddenly, Myston was tackled by the giant of a shark known as Carcharius. Carcharius took a small chunk out of Myston's back. Baphropod swatted the shark off and landed a spike in his shoulder. Carcharius wasn't feeling any pain at the moment, but he mostly likely will be hurting when he comes out of his rage later.
The anti-coagulant was getting to Baphropod. He was a bloody mess. But no time to worry about that right now, he had bigger fish to fry, mainly the very big fish that was Carcharius.
Baphropod lunged at Carcharius, tearing off a chunk of flesh. Baphropod hadn't really tasted it yet. He ripped it in half and ate it happily. During this short period of delay, Carcharius jumped at him, biting down on the armor and taking some flesh. Baphropod shook him off and fired about twenty stingers from his back into his stomach. Carcharius collapsed. Baphropod smacked him with his tail and then again.
Baphropod looked at Myston, who was on his knees. He fired a horn beam at what seemed to be Baphropod, but it actually hit Carcharius. Baphropod decided this fight had to end, and end now.
He inflated his air sacs and floated in between the two other monsters. He once again drenched his arms in hemotoxin, all that remained of it. He then fired all of his spines from one arm at Myston and all of the spines from the other at Carcharius.
That should do it.
Just to make sure the job was done, Baphropod spun around and shot all of the spines from his back equally at each monster.
(Thanks for the great battle guys. I really had fun. It was very challenging for me to try to stay worthy of fighting your monsters throughout the entire thing.)

First off I want to congratulate you all on a well done match. Unfortunately there have to be winners and losers, and I have to announce them. So here's how this'll play out.
For dealing huge amounts of damage, and managing to keep pace despite taking a ton of punishment himself, I'm calling Myston the Champion as winner. Yaburu gets a hearty e-handshake and 175 MP, nicely done.
Carcharius put up an enormous fight and drew a lot of blood, but by the end of the match I think he was wearing down a lot faster than his opponents. Fantastic effort, OR, but I'm afraid you're only coming out of this with 135 MP.
Baphropod did a great job of holding his own. His armor plating and stingers definitely gave him an edge in the endurance department, but he just couldn't deal enough damage to slow down his enemies. Still pulling in 135 MP though, Stealth.
OR and Stealth, please post your retreat messages now.

His vision blurred as his strength waned. The world faded in and out as he staggered into deeper water by the edge of the combat zone before splashing down and disappearing into the depths. Blood trailed behind him as the mutant sank out of sight, defeated for the first time in memory. Whether or not he was dead would remain to be seen.
((OOC: Well, I tried. Maybe I'll be able to claim victory here at some point. Good game everybody.))

Baphropod knew Myston was, well, the champion. Of this battle at least. Baphropod didn't have much strength left to continue. Then he noticed the wind was blowing in the direction he wanted to go. The giant crustacean floated onward and out of site.
(Congratulations Yaburu. You did a great job. OR you also did great. Hopefully we'll get to battle again some day.)

Myston kept a fighting stance until he was sure both his opponents were out of range, and he was safe. Only then did he finally let down his guard.
Victory. He'd won. But he'd paid a heavy toll for it. His body was covered in blood. Massive gashes bled freely thanks to the shark's anticoagulant. The crustacean's painful barbs did their work as well. It was going to take Myston days of intensive meditation to recover from this.
Panting heavily, Myston sat down on the ground and curled up. He was exhausted, too exhausted to even enter a meditative state. He had to sleep first. And so, closing his eyes, Myston fell into a deep slumber
(another excellent match, kudos to the both of you. Honestly, I thought it was gonna be OR coming out on top, I was even composing my retreat in my head. Regardless though, I'll be glad to have another go-round with either of you again.)
