But Carcharius' surge of movement caused the spine to miss its mark, instead striking him in the shoulder. And even though Carcharius had sustained some nasty injuries from his fall, nothing was going to slake his hunger save for finally gorging himself on the corpses of his foes. Baphropod was first, as the shark collided with him, tearing loose a hunk of armor and flesh with his claws. Blood flowed freely as the shark spat the armor loose and dug his talons into the softer portions of the armor beneath. Baphropod's struggles were making it difficult to maintain a grip on the crustacean, and Carcharius slung him in to Myston, knocking the two over as Carcharius charged forward again.
Not even Myston's laser horn could deter him as it burned a swath across his shoulder. Carcharius latched on to Baphropod again and sank his fangs into the more vulnerable underbelly, ignoring the scrabbling claws as he tore another chunk of armor and flesh loose. Myston had managed to disengage from his mess with Baphropod, but the crustacean was not as lucky, as Carcharius slammed him upside down into the muck and water and prepared to tear his guts open with his other hand...

Still in pain from the Hemotoxin, Myston winced for a moment as he left the ground, delivering a powerful flying kick to Carcahrius that struck him dead in the jaw and knocked him to the ground. Myston hoped that if he could break this thing's jaw, it'd be unable to continue feeding, as he was quite tired of it taking bites out of his body.
Turning to Baphropod, he saw the beast heading in to attack, and quickly grabbed it's arms, heaving it upward, and then driving it back down to the ground face-first in a modified piledriver of kaiju proportions.
Stepping back, Myston cleared his head. Indeed, the flow of blood from his wounds was making him light-headed, and the pain seered in his head, but he worked through it, forcing himself to concentrate on summoning the energies within him, until he was able to launch an Aura Disc at Baphropod, the attack breaking into smaller pieces and causing explosions to cover the crustacean.
Panting, Myston knew he had to do something about his wounds. Both his foes were stunned for the moment. It was a risk, but he had to do it. Closing his eyes, Myston entered a semi-meditative state, and focused his energies on his body, and closing up the wounds, purging the poisons from his system...

Baphropod was now furious. He wanted to let at least his minor wounds to heal before getting back up. However, he realized now was the time to strike the healing saurian, lying or not. He released some hemotoxin from his claw and let it flow down his arm, bathing his spines. He then launched some poisonous spines at the meditating Myston which landed in his chest. This instantly disrupted his meditation and brought the poison and some bad wounds back.
Myston, obviously angered, ran at Baphropod who was lying down letting his wounds heal. Baphropod lifted Myston with all of his arm strength and through him over his head. Myston landed on his head causing immense neck pain.
As Carcharius slowly got up, Baphropod realized he needed to get up too despite his wounds while Myston was down. Baphropod ran to the downed alien and ripped several slices into Myston's back. Myston screamed in pain and kicked Baphropod in the chest knocking him back. Baphropod came back and punched Myston in the face.
Carcharius, bleeding from the mouth, jumped at Baphropod and slashed at his legs drawing blood. Baphropod quickly shook him off and impaled his wounded jaw with hemotoxin. The shark roared and fell over. A bit of toxin had rushed to his head. He'd be fine, if Baphropod didn't kill him first.
The crustacean put a stinger up to Carcharius's head and prepared to fire...

Carcharius howled in rage as the stinger penetrated just behind his eye, its hemotoxin payload going straight to work. Red clouded his vision as the skin around his face swelled and reddened. Baphropod was not so swift as to avoid immediate retaliation, and Carcharius slammed his jaws shut, guided purely by smell, on the crustacean's flank, tearing free more armor and flesh, gorging himself on the feast he should be having. Baphropod shrieked as Carcharius tore another piece loose and swallowed it whole, oblivious to the spines or Myston's punches. There was only blood.
Carcharius slammed Baphropod down hard, driving him to the bottom of the muck as he lashed out as Myston, aiming a bladed tailfin right at the alien saurian's chest...

Myston jumped back just in the nick of time, preventing what could have been a fatal attack. The laceration on his chest showed just how close he cut it. Growling, Myston fired another horn beam at Carcharius, striking his face before leaping in and smashing both his fists in an axehandle on his skull, knocking him down.
Myston was getting frustrated. No matter how hard he hit this thing, no matter how many times, it just kept getting up, it was obsessed with killing him and eating him. Was this finally it? Was this creature the one that would end his nearly 2000 years of existence? If it was, then that was his fate. And he'd go down like a Karmian: Fighting!
Turning to Baphropod, he leapt into the air, augmenting the leap with his telekinesis, and dropped down on its body with his feet making impact and all his weight behind it, driving his target violently into the ground. before hopping off him and landing a ways away, twirling around immediately and firing an Aura Disc at the Crustacean...

Baphropod was quick to shoot a spine at the disk causing it to explode in a shower of energy. Myston fired a horn beam at Baphropod. Baphropod turned around to block it with the strongest part of his armor. It hurt, but not badly.
Myston then came at Baphropod and the scene turned into a mess of flying stingers, flailing limbs, and roars and screeches. Baphropod was not ready to lose. Myston managed to get a few punches and kicks in there, but Baphropod did most of the damage. It was obvious that Myston was tired, but he was still ready to fight. He charged up another aura disc, but before could launch it, Baphropod shot a volley of hemotoxin drenched spines into Myston's stomach causing him to fall over in pain.
Out of no where, Carcharius sprung up and landed on Baphropod's back. The crustacean was now ready to finish this thing off, once and for all. He shook the shark off and caught him under his legs. Carcharius frantically threw his arms and legs about, but it was no use. Baphropod was putting all of his weight on Carcharius causing blood to rise up from his mouth.
Somehow, Carcharius managed to roll out and get up, only to get knocked back down with a devistating claw swipe. On the ground, the shark managed to cut Baphropod with his tail blade drawing blood. Carcharius had gone completely insane now, willing to anything for blood. But he would have to wait, because Baphropod had him pinned down. The crustacean furiously cut at Carcharius's stomach. He was pumping more hemotoxin into the shark's body than imaginable.
Baphropod prepared another stinger, just like last time he was in this position, but aimed for the shark's chest this time...

Other, lesser creatures would be blinded by the pain and poison, but not Carcharius. His body was hard at work, purging toxins from his systems and repairing the damage he had sustained thusfar. And, with Baphropod so close, his hunger knew no bounds. He lunged forward with his jaws, twisting slightly and catching the offending stinger in his fangs, bypassing its lethal payload and dealing incredible damage to the crustacean's tail. Baphropod shrieked and thrashed, delivering a nasty swipe with his claws to the shark, but to no avail. Finally, he managed to shove Carcharius away, but not before his adversary took a chunk of flesh and muscle with him.
Carcharius quickly got to his feet, stabbing the crustacean in the exposed belly with his tailfin, then slung him into the advancing Myston, toppling his enemies together once more. Carcharius charged, pouncing at Baphropod and seeking to tear his guts out...

Myston, knowing he was in just as much danger as Baphropod from Carcahrius' shashing claws and bloodlust, fired an Aura Disc at the Mutant shark as he leapt in, the force of the blast knocking him back.
Baphropod, confused and in pain, started slashing blindly with its deadly stinger, once again injecting Myston with the painful Hemotoxin. Myston responded by smashing Baphropod in the skull with his fist, knocking him to the ground.
Looking back to Carcharius, he's not surprised to see this single-minded beast on the offensive again. Myston is amazed. As much punishment as this thing has taken, it simply continues to attack, never letting up, never showing any sign of retreat.
Myston steps away just as Carcharius comes in and trips him up, but just as he stumbles and starts to fall, Myston strikes, slamming his elbow into the back of his skull with all his power. Myston hops a few paces away and launches an Aura Disc. By the time it reaches his enemies, it will have broken up enough to strike both...

Baphropod acted fast. He shot a stinger into Carcharius's foot making him fall in the center of the blast. Carcharius took most of the damage because of this.
Carcharius roared and was silenced as Baphropod smashed him in the face with a powerful punch. Carcharius was on the ground when Baphropod decided it was time to finish this thing off. He injected almost all of his hemotoxin into the shark. He'd have to wait for his glands to fill back up with the poison before usingit again. He'd rely completely on his melee skills. now. Carcharius was on the ground thrashing about wildly. Blood was leaking out of his mouth, eyes, and nose. He didn't even know where he was.
As Baphropod turned away, he received a powerful blow to the gut from Myston. Luckily, all of this battle had caused his armor to tense up, making it stronger. Baphropod quickly returned the favor with a swipe to Myston's legs, knocking them out from under him. Almost instantly Baphropod slashed his face leaving a deep gash in Myston's cheek. Myston tried to get up but was soon sliced across the other cheek. Baphropod turned to where Carcharius was frantically slashing and smashed Myston under his tail.
Carcharius's seemed to be slowing down. Baphropod thought the hemotoxin might have actually calmed him down a bit. Maybe if the shark wasn't in a state of blind fury, it just might feel all of the pain it had received, but who knows. Baphropod walked up to the wild shark and prepared a direct open claw attack to the face...

But Carcharius was doing everything but slowing down. His horomone production systems had gone into overdrive at this point. Normally, anything that he had previously encountered would have fallen with ease, but because of the resilliance of these creatures, his body was at odds with itself. When this was over, he would be either very exhausted, or very, very dead. But none of that mattered. Only the prey mattered.
Carcharius snagged Baphropod's incoming claw with one of his own taloned hands, snapping downward and forcing Baphropod to the ground where Carcharius smashed in his head with repeated stompings. The crustacean stabbed futily with his empty stinger, which, once again, Carcharius completely ignored. He dug his claws into Baphropod's sides, tearing into armor and flesh with a single-minded ferocity not seen on Earth in millions of years. Baphropod's shrieks and cries fell on deaf ears as Carcharius proceeded to beat on the exoskeletal armor of his foe, oblivious to the spines.
He could tell Myston was approaching and lashed his bladed tailfin back and forth, which was as much of a warning as the beast would get if he interferred further...

Myston stood at the ready, watching the seemingly random swipes of the deadly bladed tail, before striking, reaching out and grabbing a hold of the tail as it came back from a swing.
Instantly, Myston began to spin around, swinging Carcahrius with him. He dug his feet into the marsh and picked up momentum, closing his eyes to try and minimize the effect on his equilibrium. Finally, he began to levitate upward while still spinning, keeping that vital momentum he needed to pull this off.
Once he was as high as he wanted to be, he spun around to face horizontally, ergo causing Carcahrius to spin vertically. With this final piece of the puzzle, Myston let go with all the strength his muscles would donate to the cause.
But Myston was so dizzy, that while he intended to throw Carcahrius straight down, he wound up tossing him directly upward into the sky before falling back to the damp ground himself.
He stood back up, but the whole world was spinning, and it only got worse once Baphropod punched him with considerable force, knocking him to the ground.
While on his back, Myston looked upward. Carcahrius had reached the peak of his accent, roughly a half-mile up, and was now plummeting back down to the ground below. Baphropod was coming in for another attack, when Myston got an idea. He allowed Baphropod to get closer, then grabbed his arms once he was in range, preventing another attack. Myston looked up again, and calculated Carcahrius' approximate impact point, then tossed Baphropod there as he took back to the skies, passing Carcharius as he did so.
As he predicted Carcahrius landed with immense force directly on top of Baphropod, then entire ground shaking violently from the mass of flesh that had just struck.
Myston smiled. The damage that had to do to both of them had to be extreme. Carcahrius' bones and inner organs had to be decimated, and Baphropod's armor was probably cracked in several places. Now to deliver the coup de grace.
With a great war cry, Myston plummeted himself downward from 400 meters up, striking the downed Carcahrius feet-first in his gut and further pushing him down onto Baphropod.
Myston jumped off, did a flip, and landed a ways away, turning to his two enemies.
That HAD to do it! There was no way either of those two could still be conscious right now, especially Carcharius. But...why take chances?
Myston willed An Aura Disc to his hand, then tossed it at both his opponents, hoping that if that last attack didn't finish them, THIS would...

Baphropod was still conscious, although a shark did just land on him from half a mile in the air. The move that Myston had just perform didn't help either.
As the aura disk approached Baphropod didn't do anything. He just waited for impact. Carcharius was definitely injured severely and he squirmed around. He suddenly rolled off of Baphropod and into the disk. He groaned in pain.
Baphropod turned his head to Myston who looked at him in confusion. Myston was surprised that Baphropod had survived. He became even more confused as something on Baphropod's sides began to swell up. Baphropod lifted off the ground. He pointed his arm at Myston was beginning to hover himself and shot all of the spines off of his arm directly into Myston's torso. Myston fell back to the ground. Baphropod lowered too and ran to Myston. His armor was cracking, but that was just his outside.
He delivered a punch to Myston's face. Myston returned the punch weakly. He was in too much pain for powerful attacks. Baphropod gave Myston another punch to the face. This fight was definitely going to be easier with that blood driven shark out of the picture for now. He'd be very surprised if that thing got back up.
Baphropod drove his spines into Myston's stomach and then walked away. He walked toward Carcharius when he was suddenly hit by a horn beam. Myston was still down, but was looking at Baphropod with anger. He just ignored it and prepared to rip Carcharius's face off.

It seemed that no matter what these monsters did, nothing could put Carcharius down. The more blood that was spilled, the stronger and angrier he got. Carcharius seized Baphropod's claw in his jaws and bit down, hard, crushing and splintering armor with ease as he pumped anti-coagulant into the wound. Baphropod tried to shake him loose, but had little success. Suddenly, an ear-splitting "CRACK" sounded from the crustacean, as he squealed in agony. Maybe the shark had broken something, but he didn't pause long enough to find out. He rushed Myston, sinking his fangs into the saurian's flank before tearing a chunk of flehs loose. Blood, saliva, and anti-coagulant mingled together in a glorious red torrent. Myston clutched his side in agony and hit back with a nasty punch to the snout.
But this did little more than force Carcharius to use other weapons, as he slashed, one, twice, three times across Myston's face, drawing blood in large quantities. Myston bellowed as he clutched his wounded face. Whatever damage he had done to the shark, the shark was now paying back in full. And to top things off, Carcharius' regeneration was still fixing wounds, both internal and external, giving him a precious advantage over Myston. Carcharius seized Myston by the throat, lifting him off the ground before swinging his bladed tail at the saurian, its tip like a deadly scorpion sting...

Myston caught the tail just a few feet away from his face, holding on tightly to avoid what would more then likely be a fatal blow. With his breath being taken away, Myston couldn't summon forth his spirit energy to fuel his Aura Disc.
Desperate to get Carcharius' hand away from his neck, Myston carefully aims at Carcharius' eye, and fires a horn beam, striking his right eye and causing him to let go.
Myston reflects on this unfortunate situation. Baphropod looks to be the kind of monster that knows when to back away from a fight, and will more then likely do so eventually. But this shark, this savage, untamed warrior, will never quit, and never back down. Myston deeply fears that the only way to stop it...is to kill it. And for a warrior like Myston, killing such a powerful, skilled fighter is a sin the likes of which he can't even fathom. But what other option is there?
Leaping in, Myston aims his elbow directly to the back of Carcharius' neck, driving it into the spine with terrific force. Myston watches as the downed shark stirs on the ground, severely stunned from the blow. He could kill it now. Just drive his fingers into it's neck, and finish it.
NO! He just can't. This thing is too skilled, too strong to so unceremoniously kill. It had earned it's right to live and fight again. No, the only option was simply to beat it into unconsciousness. It would live, it would recover, and it would fight him again another day.
Myston turned to his other opponent, Baphropod. Yes, this one was a fine example of a warrior as well. After he crushed it, he would leave it to recover and challenge it another day, and become stronger. But first, he must beat them both.
Myston fired another horn beam at his foe, striking the underbelly, and readied another Aura Disc. But it was not to be, as more spines came flying out and impaled themselves in Myston's shoulder, throwing his aim off badly as the Disc passed over Baphropod harmlessly.
Not wanting to let it go on the offensive, Myston flew in with a kick...

Baphropod did indeed go to defense, but also offense. The kick was blocked by both of the lobster's arms. Myston's foot was injured as it landed on an outward jutting spine.
Baphropod swiftly turned and smacked Myston with his tail. Myston was knocked over. Baphropod turned back around as Myston was returning to his feet. He delivered several claw swipes to Myston, ripping several strips of flesh off. Myston kicked Baphropod who felt pain. Baphropod returned the kick in punch form, right to the jaw. Myston was thrown off of the ground from this. Myston got up and fired a horn beam which missed. Baphropod spiked him in the shoulder and then in the side of the head, just passing his eyes.
Myston bent down in pain as Carcharius ran at Baphropod. Baphropod stepped to the side and Carcharius crashed into Myston. He quickly got up and charged again at Baphropod, who again side stepped, but this time with his arm out. Carcharius smacked off of the arm and tripped. Baphropod realized that this was the perfect moment. He shot two stingers through Carcharius's bottom jaw and out of his top. This would keep his mouth closed, but not for long. Baphropod ceased the moment by grabbing the shark by the shoulders and ripping flesh off. He then smashed the shark with all of his power in the gut. If carcharius ever got out of his rage, he would be feeling some major pain. Baphropod then scraped his spines along Carcharius's stomach creating large and deep cuts.
Baphropod then was ready to inject the shark in the neck with his special poison. He wanted this thing to die. If Carcharius doesn't act fast, his head will explode shortly...
