"Warning, reactor power levels fluctuating. Initiating automated shutdown of Shadow Breakers."
"Damn leech. I'll show him."
But before Natalie could get her machine back into the fray, another volley of missiles slammed into Psychosis from behind, the fighters turning around dozens of miles away to rearm at a nearby air base. And it provided enough a distraction for Natalie to move her damaged machine into melee range. She knew to beware of Psychosis' tongue this time as she slashed upwards with her sword, cutting into the less than armored flesh of the shadow monster with ease, sending a spray of ichor flying across the machine's chassis.
Psychosis screeched, although whether it was is pain or excitement, Natalie couldn't tell. Not that it mattered. When he lashed out with his tongue again, she quickly grabbed it and yanked, pulling Psychosis forward, only to receive a blade in the gut, courtesy fo her shield, which she quickly pumped energy through to make sure he got the point. But Psychosis wasn't fully finished as he raked his claws across her torso, tearing through the metal in curling ribbons with a horrible sound.
"It'll take more than that to beat me, human."
"Good thing I've got strength to spare then," she replied, smashing both fists into Psychosis' face in rapid succession, drawing blood and mashing the already horrible face into something even more grotesque. As a finisher, Lenneth prepared to stab Psychosis again, this time in the back...

(In the interest of moving things along, TG has until tomorrow to post. Unless he wants to use his super-admin powers or something. We should probably also consider calling this one soon.)

"I'll attack when I WANT TO ATTACK!"
The demon screeched and brought his tail up, grabbing Lenneth's arm and preventing the attack. With a massive swing of his body, Psychosis shifts around and moves back, releasing the mech (causing no damage).
"DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!"
Psychosis flung himself forward, attacking Lenneth wildly with his blades. Gashes and scrapes began to decorate Natalie's war machine, Psychosis screaming like a crazed psychopath as he continued the assault. Lenneth brings her shield up and slams it into Psychosis, sending him fluttering back, screeching once more. It does not stop him for long though, as he swings his body around and begins flying in circles around the machine, slamming his claws and tail randomly into Lenneth's armor.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Psychosis halts the assault by flying up into the air and flying straight back down, constricting around Lenneth as he does so. The demon's tentacles once again begin to drain energy from the machine, as Psychosis begins to tighten his hold on Lenneth, prepared to squeeze the artificial life out of the machine...
(Yeah, I'd say another round or two and this can be called. Also, I apologize for not getting to this. I'm not used to working 20+ hours a week, and I'm still adjusting. >_>)

With his attuned senses, Myston could feel energy being once again siphoned out of Lenneth by Psychosis. "Foolish creature, so wrapped up in attacking my partner that he forgets about me."
Again, Myston created an Aura Sword to accomplish the task, and sprung into action. But that's exactly what Psychosis had wanted, and planned on. With speed that paid tribute to his serpentine body, Psychosis unwrapped himself from Lenneth, but pulled the battered machine in Myston's range at the last second, causing him to have to shift himself suddenly to avoid striking his partner with the Aura Sword. That's when Psychosis struck. As Myston stood back up, Psychosis brought his blades down multiple times, causing larges gashes in Myston's back before The Forever Warrior leaped away from him. Whirling around and snarling, Myston unleashed his Horn Beam, the cutting attack striking Psychosis in the face, and blood spurted out from the wound.
Psychosis crashed backward, and Myston quickly turned to face Ahul, who was airborn some distance away, looking for an opening to attack. But Myston would give him none. He kicked the air, sending his own Aura outward to strike Ahul directly in the throat. The Shadow Servant gasped and struggled for air as he plummeted to the ground. Just as he was about to regain control of his decent, he was struck multiple times by Myston's Aura Discs, causing him to loose control again and strike the ground in a crumpled heap.
The Forever Warrior stood, fists clenched, entire body at the ready, and observed both his enemies. Both were down, neither was moving. Could this be it?...

Ahul snarled and fired a frost bolt at the disc, knocking it off course. "Dirty fighter!" Ahul sneered. "Holding me in place with telekinesis? That's cheating! You've got some evil in you yet."
Before Myston could reply, Ahul dove straight into the Karmian and released both a dark pulse and a pulse of cold, chilling his foe to the bone and sapping more of his aura. As Myston writhed on the ground, Ahul flew away to help Psychosis fight Lenneth.
"Here's what I think about you humans!" Ahul snarled, then snorted. Finally he spat a huge loogie of dissolving phlegm at the mech, the liquid eating through more of its already damaged armor.
Suddenly Ahul was taken out of the air, struck in the back by an aura disc. The pterosaur turned around to see Myston advancing toward him. "Still alive?" Ahul cooed. "We'll fix that." Snarling, Ahul prepared to fire a frost bolt at the forever warrior...

Which was suddenly knocked astray as Psychosis slammed into Ahul from behind, courtesy of Lenneth, sending the two plummeting to the ground in a tangled heap of limbs and claws. Rather than waste a perfect opportunity, Natalie called in another airstrike from the planes circling outside the battlefield. Another volley of LRGCMs from the Thunderhammers slammed into the pair, blanketing them in a massive shockwave. While Ahul and Psychosis screamed in pain, Natalie surged forward, still wobbly from the frozen leg, and plunged her sword into the tangled mass. It seemed to miss anything vital, but a spurt of blood and other nasty fluids told her she had hit something.
Psychosis outed himself as the target when he burst free from his partner, the blade still gouged into his side, and lashed out at Lenneth with his tongue, the spiked protrusions stabbing into and ripping away armor with ease. But rather than let him commence siphoning energy again, Natalie fired a barrage of ice missiles, coating the shadow demon in a sheath of frozen water, before lashing out, ready to shatter the beast with a mighty fist.
"This is it," she shouted, feeling pumped up, despite the damage she had taken.

(I did not see that you guys had posted so soon in this match. I was too focused on updates that I forgot. >_>)
CLANG!
Natalie gasps as Lenneth's fist is parried by a chilled Psychosis' blades. The machine stumbled back slightly, but quickly regained posture. Psychosis twisted his body about, breaking off sheathes of ice sticking to him. The demon let out a bizarre sounding shriek, before breaking out into rage.
"Oh, you silly little girl. I don't die that easily."
Psychosis suddenly hurled his body at Lenneth, slamming hard into the mech. Lenneth crashed down, sparks flying as Psychosis regained his posture. The demon prepared to strike Lenneth, but suddenly felt a force on his tail. Turning around, Psychosis witnessed too late that Myston had grabbed a hold of his tail. With a powerful heave, Myston lifted the insane monster off the ground and slammed him into a nearby building. Myston growled as the demon slowly rose back up.
"You know, you should feel lucky that I haven't focused on you this entire time. You would be reduced to nothing but a diseased corpse by now... So let's get to work, shall we?"
Psychosis launches himself at Myston, spinning in a whirlwind of blades and blood. Myston howls as the blades slice and dice his flesh. Not only is Myston's blood splattering about, but so is his demon foe's. Psychosis breaks away and cackles like a madman. The demon's blood and corrupted blades fill the alien with a crippling disease, weakening the champion as the seconds go by. Psychosis decides to add insult to injury and lashes out with his tongue, giving Myston a spiny lick to the face, slicing into his flesh.
With more insane laughter, Psychosis prepares to coil around Myston and begin to drain his energy...

Myston was too weakened by the poisons to get out of the way, and all at once, felt his life force slipping. Thinking fast, he fired his Horn Beam directly into Psychosis' throat. The Beam cut through flesh and forced him to back away, lest he lose his head, literally. Taking back to the air, Psychosis cackled and went for another pass, his blades slicing into Myston's arms. But as he passed, he felt a sudden chill through his entire body, and looked down to see Myston's Aura Sword impaled in his gut.
The Forever Warrior pushed the blade in a little deeper before using it to toss his enemy over by Lenneth, who could keep an eye on him, or dole out more punishment. Whatever suited her. Myston turned just in time to use his Aura Shield to deflect a Frostbolt from Ahul.
"You're getting sloppy Ahul. I predicted that you'd try that attack at this very point while I was wrapped up with your buddy over there."
"Oh, well excuuuuuuse me, princess." Ahul snarled "We can't all be intergalactic cage fighters capable of predicting enemy moves."
Myston sighs "Just...shut up Ahul." he says, exasperated, and annoyance creeping into his voice. "Just shut up...and die."
"See? There you go again, playing judge jury, and executioner. Just give in and admit it; you'd find utter satisfaction in becoming a servant of the Death God. All the monsters you could fight and slaughter, and an increase in your power to boot. And as tough as you are now, just think of what you would be with the Death God's blessing."
Myston hardly even acknowledged Ahul's words. Rather, he simply concentrated, gather rubble from all over the smashed buildings. Tons upon more tons of concrete gathered in front of him, forming an immense ball, bigger then him, over 100 meters in diameter. With a simple flick of his finger, the ball was launched at Ahul.
Ahul evaded it rather easily, but Myston stopped the ball, and brought it back at him. He was about to evade again, but was forced to stop in his tracks to avoid a few Aura Discs. This distraction was all the ball of concrete needed to catch up and slam into Ahul. He screeched as the ball fell, from several hundred meters in the sky, crashing down with horrific force near Psychosis, who was stirring.
"Thanks for shutting the bird up." Natalie laughed to herself.
"It was my pleasure Natalie." Myston responded mentally. Looking to finish the Job, Myston launched an Aura Blast into the rubble, hoping to obliterate Ahul for good...

Again Ahul dodged Myston's attempt to finish him once and for all. The slippery pterosaur scuttled around the ruins of Chicago and took to the air once again. "I grow weary of this," Ahul said, his sneer finally gone from his face. "So let's end the tedium, yes?"
Ahul suddenly released and ear splitting shriek and began flapping his wings wildly. Myston and Lenneth watched in confusion as the Shadow Servant seemed to have a seizure in mid air. In fact, as they focused their attention on the pterosaur's strange actions, they failed to notice as ice began to collect on the ground beneath him. Slowly the mounds of ice took a form of their own, twisting into a rough approximation of the human shape. When Ahul finally stopped his bizarre, spasming excuse for a dance, there were three lumpy humanoid ice creatures standing beneath him, each about twenty feet tall.
"Assault the human," Ahul said.
The three ice giants obeyed. Though they were dwarfed by the other combatants on the field, they ran into battle without a single sign of fear. One Wendigo jumped onto Lenneth's chest and clawed at her armor like a feral cat. The other two, who seemed to be far dumber, instead took to kicking her good leg like rude schoolchildren.
"This is embarrassing," Natalie said to herself as the tiny ice golems continued their futile assault on her mech. Balancing herself on her robot's frozen leg, Natalie brought the still working one up and, in one swift motion, crushed both of the Wendigos that had assaulted it in one brutal kick. The war machine jerks as the ice monster on its chest tore off some of its armor plating and, in a stroke of luck, managed to hit some of its circuitry. "Oh, no you don't!" Natalie spat at the tiny abomination. Seconds later she tore the creature apart with her shock anchor. "Did you think that'd stop me?" she asked as she turned to face Ahul, only to see he was no longer watching her.
"No," the pterosaur said from behind her. Lenneth turned around just in time to see that Ahul had managed to toss Myston straight into her. As the two heroes collapsed together onto the ground, both Psychosis and Ahul cackled with delight behind them.
Lenneth and Myston got back on their feet. The mech acted first, striking Ahul with her shock anchor. The pterosaur fell to the ground, electricity coursing through his body. He didn't stay there long, though. With a wicked snarl he flew directly towards both Myston and Lenneth, his body surging with dark energy as he prepared to hit them both with a dark pulse...

And promptly slammed head on into Lenneth's Barrier Field, the shield itself flashing brightly before dissipating, as Ahul caromed off the barrier and crashed into the ground nearby, dazed and sporting a nasty lump on his head, but otherwise unhurt. Myston had to help support the machine though, lest the force of the impact topple it over.
"You're right about one thing though," Natalie said to Ahul, as she gripped her sword. "It is time to end this."
With that, Natalie lunged forward, striking Ahul across the the chest, carving another bleeding gash in the shadow pterosaur, before lashing out with her good leg, kicking Ahul across the face and knocking the monster sprawling again.
"And this time, stay down," she said, turning to Psychosis and firing both Shadow Breakers. The energy beams lanced across the ruined city and struck Psychosis full in the face, dropping the abomination to the ground as well. Unfortunately, if things didn't end soon, it would go badly for both Lenneth and Myston. Both of them were in bad shape. This needed to end now...

Hoo boy. Where to start on this.
Lenneth was the single strongest participant in the match, due to its armor being resistant to Ahul's freezing attacks and being immune to both Xau's venom and Psychosis' bacteria simply for being a machine. It was also the only combatant, aside from Xau, to have armor.
Ahul dished out a helluva lot of damage. That AZC shot was really crippling. His complete lack of armor or healing abilities meant that he likewise took a MAJOR beating, though.
Before getting replaced, Xau was very strong as well. His armor and regeneration were keeping him relatively fresh, while he was inflicting quite a bit of damage, especially to Myston.
Psychosis inflicted his fair share of damage once tagging in too, but like Ahul his complete lack of defenses meant he got majorly hurt as well.
Myston... poor Myston. Goddamn. Dude took the brunt of most of the attacks. Where his partner was resistant to a lot of their opponents' attacks, Myston was weak to a lot of them. To his credit, though, he gave all three opponents hell, and his regeneration and increased stamina both helped him keep going.
Both sides gave each other absolute hell. If Ahul hadn't basically been fighting alone for a few turns and Xau had stayed in for the duration of the match, I would have given the win to the Shadow Servants. However, as it stands, I've gotta call this a tie. All participants receive 150 MP. Post retreats.

All of the combatants were battered to the point of breaking. Ahul knew this, and deep inside he knew he wanted to live more than he wanted his foes to die. It was a terrible weakness of his, and had led to some awful decisions before. Now, however, it seemed like his salvation. As he surveyed the ruins of Chicago, he grinned. At least he'd gotten some good wholesale destruction and death out of it. He who fights and runs away, lives to kill another day,"" chanted the pterosaur as he opened a portal to the shadows, fluttering inside.
(OOC- Good match everyone! Long, but good.)

(If I received 150 mp, too, I'd like to divide that up and give it to the people who continued fighting. I don't believe I deserve it, to be honest. So I'll give 30 mp to TG, cause he was in it for less time, and 40 mp to everyone else. Nice fight guys! I had fun while I was in it.)

"WHAT? It's over!? BULLSHIT!"
...A brief pause as Psychosis gazes down at his battered body. With a low growl, he continues.
"Hear this, and hear it well; we are nowhere NEAR our true strength. When you venture into our realm though... HAH!"
Psychosis whirls around and slashes open a portal, leaving the battlefield...
