Millenium Park, Chicago. 2:46 P.M. An afternoon in the park for many Chicago citizens was something to enjoy with all of these shadow creature attacks taking place throughout the world. It was enjoyable, to say the least, and what better way to enjoy the outside world than to take a peaceful walk through the park. Surprisingly, Chicago had remained untouched since the devastating attacks began, but that would soon change. As people enjoyed the scenery, sun, and each other, a massive shadow portal opened up in the very center of Millenium Park, and out stepped the one named Xau Kysinh. Everyone instantly screamed in horror, for they knew that this creature was the one who just murdered millions of people just a few days ago. They expected the same. Greetingss, pestss. I'm going to introduce myself, but firsst... a demonstration... Xau calmly turned to face a shiny modern art sculpture made of chrome. It was known as the Cloud Gate to the rest of the world, but to Xau, it was just a convenient weapon. A nearby tree suddenly mutated to a massive size, and proceeded by lifting the sculpture with its twisted branches. The tree bent backwards at Xau's command, and then launched the sculpture. The target was the nearby Aon Tower, a rather bland, yet very tall skyscraper. Upon impact, Cloud Gate smashed through the base of the tower, severely damaging its internal structure. The insect then slashed the building with one of his bone scythes, instantly severing the entire tower from its base. Xau sidestepped out of the way, waiting for the fall. "And....timber," Xau muttered to himself. Aon Tower smashed on the ground, destroying a concert building filled with frightened people. The fallen building broke into sections and rubble upon impact, with hundreds of now dead people inside. Xau laughed. "Alright, where wass I? Ah, yess... I am Xau. Prepare to die," the insect simply stated, but with a sinister tone. And die is what the people would do. ((No one join yet. I have backup that still has to arrive, at which point, they'll cue whoever wants to fight in. Let's make this a fun one!))

"Die?" said a voice from within the portal. No one actually heard it, at least not with their ears. Instead it just appeared in their minds, as if it was just another thought - except it wasn't their own. The origin of the telepathic message soon revealed itself, swooping out of the portal as a white and blue blurr. The massive pterodactyl soared through the air, gracefully gliding over the city. "Oh, come now, where's the fun in killing them outright? A little torture first, I think," the pterodactyl continued. "And a little madness."
The dull, blood red patterns on Ahul's wings began to brighten and glow. They shifted, and to the panicking people below it looked as though his wings had caught on fire. Then, to their supreme horror, the "flames" on his wings took the shape of a massive demonic face of fire. "I AM AHUL!" the pterodactyl's telepathic signal roared, giving all the humans horrific migrains and increasing their already sizable panic. "THE ICE TYRANT! SERVANT OF THE DARK GOD! PRAY TO YOUR DEITIES AND MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR LIVES, FOR THE END IS NIGH!" Then, with a demonic cackle, the massive pterosaur began to flap his wings furiously, creating chilling winds of icy mist. Soon the sunny day began to look quite bleak.

Myston, having fully recovered from his fight with Byose, took to the skies as soon as he felt the disturbance some distance away from his meditation spot, high on one of the Lawless Zone mountains.
His Telekinetic abilities had increased by leaps and bounds during his meditative state, and he found that he could fly at incredible speeds now, arriving at the location within just a few hours.
Alas, he was too late, and the cities that had been attacked were destroyed washed away by the waters of a broken dam, and an immeasurable amount of death permeated the air. Myston was upset at so much senseless loss, but felt he was hot on the trail of the perpetrator. He headed West, and continued in that direction for some time when he sensed the same evil a great distance away. Wasting no time, he shot off towards it. But not too long after, as he was nearly at the location, he felt another evil presence.
Myston briefly wondered if he could take on both at the same time, but waved this thought off quickly. He had crushed all who had fought him before. It took the power of a Demigod to finally defeat him. These two would fall as well!
As the area came over the horizon, the Forever Warrior could see the destruction being wrought already. Time to put a stop to it! Landing gracefully on the ground, directly in the path of the two Shadow Servants, Myston used his new-found Telekinetic powers to enter the minds of the two.
"Servants of evil, I am the Forever Warrior, Myston. I am the greatest Karmian warrior of all time, and I have defeated countless other warriors in my 2500 years of life. Turn away, now! Or become nothing more then another of my victories. I will NOT allow you to kill any more innocent lives."

"New enemy contacts detected! Code Red, I repeat, Code Red! Enemy monsters have appeared in Chicago. Urgent! Transmitting target information now!"
The loudspeakers blared the warning across the base, as Natalie paused in her work to listen. Darktide was still a long way off from being operational again, and Cerberus was otherwise engaged in Phoenix. That left only one option remaining. She dropped what she was doing and headed for Lenneth's docking bay. General Williams might not have ordered her to, but she knew what had to be done.
Lenneth was sporting a new paint job and several new modifications, of her own design of course, and was more than ready for action. Technicians were already running through pre-launch checks. Natalie smiled to herself when she saw that. Apparently the General was thinking along the same lines she was. Within minutes she was suited up and ready to go. The docking clamps were disengaged and the lift engaged, sending the machine skywards.
"Lenneth, this is HQ. We've detected another monster currently engaging with the shadow creatures. Currently ID'd as Myston. He's supposed to be an ally, of sorts. Maybe he'll even up the odds for us."
"Roger HQ. Now locking in target coordinates. Engines full power!"
----
Lenneth was airborne shortly afterwards before turning north-east to intercept the enemy. Several minutes at Mach 3 later, Lenneth shrieked in over the burning city, letting Natlie get a good look at her enemies, and ally. A giant insectoid and some kind fo pterosaur mutant. This wouldn't be easy, but with a little luck, and some help from this Myston, they could drive these creatures away. The machine landed nearby Myston before turning her attention to the shadow demons.
"Target sighted. Lenneth, engaging."

Xau turned to face the new arrivals. A darkly colored humanoid beast with a saurian head, sure to prove a challenge, and the Earth mecha, a piloted warrior who could very well make a formidable opponent, too. The shadow insect shifted his footing before setting his sights on the machine.
"Sso it sseemss you wish to defend your pathetic city? Xau questioned, not expecting an answer. No matter, you will ssuffer!
Natalie did not know of Xau's plant manipulation abilities yet, but she was about to learn the hard way. The worst part for her was that Xau was right at home in the city park, with loads of plants to use against her. Two trees began to rapidly grow to enormous heights, losing leaves the whole time until they almost had a creepy look to them. Lenneth tried to maneuver out of the area, but she was blocked on both sides by the ever growing branches. Natalie couldn't get out of the way of one of the trees in time, and Lenneth was smacked with full force, sending the machine flying back into a middle sized skyscraper, which instantly crumbled into a heap on the machine.
"Nothing but a tin can!" Xau laughed.
The insect then switched opponents with Ahul, who was battling Myston at the time of Lenneth's fall. Xau stared at the Karmian kaiju, before sprinting up behind him, ready to attack. He skidded to a halt mere meters away, alerting Myston to his presence, but not quick enough. Xau's right scythe was already falling down on his shoulder, continuing onto his chest, and ending on Myston's stomach. The attack injected a large amount of hemotoxin into the gash, causing the Karmian to double over in pain, golding his stomach.
"You don't like that, do you? I'll try to remember that."
Myston suddenly whipped his fist out, landing it on Xau's chest, who in turn, hissed in anger. The insect quickly shook it off, though, and returned battle with the warrior. The two dodged each other's attacks for a little bit, proving the intensity of the battle. As he ducked under a new punch, Xau spun around and lashed out with his tail blade, striking Myston in the back of the neck as he finished his punch, this time injecting a load of neurotoxin. The now dizzy Myston, combined with the pain from the hemotoxin, collapsed on the ground. Xau took this opportunity to his advantage. A giant root of some flower from a garden raced onto the fallen Myston, and began to tightly wrap around his neck.
If Myston didn't do something, he would be strangled. He would have to overcome the pain and stop it, which would be a hard task given the thickness of the root...

Myston struggled against the powerful flora that threatened to strangle him, as well as against the deadly poisons that coursed through his system. He took control of his nervous system and shut down the pain receptors, effectively neutralizing the Hemotoxin, but still struggled with the Neurotoxin. Finally, using his Horn Laser, Myston cut through the plants and burned them to ash, standing tall and strong. He entered his "active meditation" to purge his body of the poisons and heal his wounds.
The Forever Warrior took a fighting stance, and rocketed in, moving faster then Xau was prepared to defend against. His knee came in and slammed into the Shadow Servent's jaw, causing his head to explode in a fireworks display of pain as he fell back to the ground, stunned. Xau got back to his feet, hissed at Myston, and unleashed his Shadow Beam from his mandibles.
Myston responded with an Aura Beam, and the two energy attacks collided head on. One beam an attack of evil and darkness, the other an attack of purity and light.
The visual was obvious.
Neither fighter relented as they headed to each other, and as a result, both took the full damage of each other's attacks when the reached a critical mass and exploded. Both stood back up after a few moments, but Ahul came in from behind and caught Myston off-guard in a Full Nelson. Xau smiled initially, but before he could move in, Lenneth blocked his path, forcing him to abandon his plans.
Seeing this, Myston smiled a toothy smile, and began straining against Ahul. His power was great, but not 1800 plus years of training great. Myston broke his hold, and spun around. Looking the Shadow Servant in the eyes, he placed both his hands on his chest. Ahul realized what the Forever Warrior had planned, and snarled as he realized there was no time to counter.
The Aura Beam propelled Ahul into the air violently, higher and higher, the initial impact more then knocking the wind out of him as well as burning his chest, before exploding mid-air and consuming him in a ball of energy. His lifeless form fell from the sky, but Myston knew that as a creature of the sky, Ahul could recover at any second, choosing to fire a Horn Laser at him...

The horn laser hit Ahul, knocking the winged horror back up into the air briefly before he continued his descent to earth. While damaging, the laser also managed to wake Ahul up. Much to Myston's surprise, the white and blue monster began to cackle. "Why, aren't you vicious?" Ahul sneered. "The Shadow God would love to have you in his arsenal. For my part, I am glad you are giving me a fight. It will make it so much more fun when I mutilate your lifeless corpse."
Then, with a screeching shriek of demented glee, Ahul swooped down and grabbed Myston with his talons. The tiny pterosaur managed to lift the other kaiju off the ground, despite his weight. "Let's chat, shall we? I'm feeling particularly chatty right now. And wouldn't this battle be boring if it was all blows and no banter?"
"I have nothing to say to you, fiend!" Myston replied. "This is combat, not debate! You will fight me!"
"If you wish," Ahul said. The pterodactyl suddenly left off a huge pulse of freezing air from his body. The massive wave of cold surged through Myston, actually blasting him out of the pterosaur's grasp. His skin was now deathly cold, with large portions of his extremities suffering from moderate frost bite. The chilled champion fell to the earth, his body convulsively shivering right before it hit the ground hard.
As Myston got up off the ground, Ahul landed a few hundred meters from him. "Oh, I can already tell you will be a challenge. What a delightful thing you are!" the Death God's minion cooed while sporting a wicked smile. "I plan to make a necklace out of your entrails. Don't worry, it will be very tasteful."
Myston stood up and snarled at Ahul. "SHUT UP!" the seasoned warrior roared as he charged toward the pterosaur. Ahul quickly leapt off the ground and, while flapping his wings, shot Myston with a powerful beam of frost from his mouth. The horrific blast of concentrated cold was the exact opposite of what Myston's already freezing body needed, pushing him closer and closer to hypothermia. So horrific was the blast that Myston actually stopped mid stride, falling to one knee as his body began to shiver horrifically. All the while Ahul cackled up above, hysterical at his own cruelty.
The pterosaur's laughter was cut short when he was struck by a volley of ice missiles, courtesy of Lenneth. The winged fiend was knocked out of the sky by the blast, crashing to the ground in a heap. He quickly recovered however, as it was the collision and not the missiles themselves that had truly hurt him. "Ice missiles? Really? You fire ice missiles at someone who calls himself the Ice Tyrant?" Ahul cackled as he swooped towards the mech at truly amazing speeds, "That's just dumb." The pterosaur spat a huge spray of mucus green liquid at the mech. While at first this seemed to be merely an insult, it quickly became clear it was an attack as the liquid began to eat through the robot's armor.
Ahul snarled as he prepared to hock another destructive loogie at Lenneth, only to be stopped by a shout from Myston. "I still live, fiend!" Myston snarled. "Prepare to die!" Ahul quickly turned around and swooped back to his first foe.
"You first!" the devious dactyl shouted gleefully right before spitting out another frostbolt, once again aiming for Myston's chest...

"Damn, these two sure are chatty," Natalie muttered to herself as she picked Lenneth out of the rubble. "Ben was right, there ARE an awful lot of talking monsters these days."
Myston was busy holding his ground against the invaders, while they in turn mostly ignored the machine. Now seemed to be a good time to show them the error of their ways. Lenneth faded from view, disappearing entirely before reappearing right behind Ahul moments later. The Ice Tyrant shrieked in pain and surprise as Lenneth perfroated his back with her shield blade, before surging energy trhough the blade. Ahul jittered and smoked as he was cooked alive from the inside before collapsing to the ground.
CEE's analysis of the shadow energies utilized by the various servants of the Death God, as well as the portals they used to enter this world had yielded some interesting results, particularly in the field of weaponry. The new Shadow Breakers Lenneth was outfitted with were an experimental version of future weapons in development, and now was as good a time as any to test their effectiveness.
With Ahul grounded, Natalie turned her attention to Xau. The creature wasn't in her database, but it bore a resemblance to a creature called Biohazard that had disappeared some time ago. Maybe...
Lenneth opened up on the insectoid with both Shadow Breakers, the energy beams striking the monster in the back. Xau screeched in pain as the weapons burnt through tough armor, pushing the monster forward with smoking wounds in his carapce.
"Ssso, you want to play rough, do you? Ssso be it!"
The insectoid whipped around and spat a jet of acid at Lenneth, the corrosive liquid splashing across her chest armor as it began to eat away at the metal. But this was far from enough to deter Lenneth, as the machine pushed forward, slashing with her sword as the laser field surrounding the blade bit through armor plating with ease. Xau clutched his wounded chest but did not retreat, even as Lenneth moved in for another strike...

Much to Natalie's surprise, Xau simply smiled, for he was watching what was happening behind her mech. A gigantic agastache was ready to fall down upon Lenneth. Xau had been growing the plant since the arrival of Myston, and it had since reached sizes that few plants had ever gotten to under the influences of the insect. As Lenneth was mere meters away from once again slicing through the insectoid's armor, the twisted agastache slammed down with extreme force onto the machine, driving her straight into the ground. Xau looked at watched the plant do this with glee, clapping his hands at the same time. As the agastache slowly lifted itself up, it was revealed that a mecha shaped crater was left in the street, with an unmoving Lenneth at the bottom.
"Heh."
A few minutes passed since Lenneth received the pummeling from the plant, and the mech still remained at the bottom of the hole, causing Xau to believe that he had successfully destroyed the machine. However, much to the insect's displeasure, Lenneth arose from the crater, with a somewhat confident pilot, along with some major dentage of the back armor. Xau hissed in anger as Lenneth suddenly lashed out, managing to make a slash in one of his arm's armor. Lenneth prepared to strike again, wanting to make a combo, but was interrupted by the agastache, which was about to make another attack. The plant hit Lenneth with enough power that the mech was sent flying clear from Millennium Park into Lake Michigan. The agastache suddenly hit another growth spurt, and prepared to battle upon Lenneth's return, if there was one.
Xau watched as Ahul proceeded performing the tearing of a new one on Myston, occasionally checking to see if Lenneth returned, and occasionally smashing a building or two. Eventually the insect grew bored with observing and jumped in to assist battling the Karmian. Myston had been able to escape Ahul's ice for a few minutes. Unfortunately, he bumped into Xau, who hissed at him from the opposite end of the street. Myston attempted to throw a few melee attacks at the insectoid, who in response, dodged them all. Myston grew angry and tried to deliver a powerful kick, but tree roots suddenly rapped around his arms and legs, constraining him. Xau then leaned in and bit his shoulder.
Xau began to absorb energy from the Karmian with no regret. It lasted about a minute, with more energy being pulled into Xau and out of Myston every second. Eventually, Myston gathered the strength and broke free of the roots, successfully shoving the insect away, taking a large chunk of shoulder meat with him. But Xau got what he wanted, and Myston suddenly realized that with all of that energy out of him, the neurotoxin's influence had drastically increased. The Karmian kaiju felt extremely dizzy, and wobbled every which way, until finally falling over on the side of a skyscraper. He then slid onto the ground, not knowing which way he was looking. Xau wasn't done yet, though.
The insect backed up in order for a running start. He then began to sprint toward Myston at full speed, until finally leaping into the air with all scythes aimed toward the dizzy warrior. And if Lenneth decided to return to shore, she had the colossal Agastache waiting for her...

Myston saw Xau coming at him, scythes ready to end his life. But he also saw that he was vulnerable to attack. Using his ability to extend his striking distance with his own spirit energy, he struck his fist out with the second knuckles extended. Xau could only laugh, thinking Myston was just so dizzy that he had grossly misjudged the distance between them by a comical level.
But then the blow hit. Myston's aim had been true, and he'd struck dead-on the trachea of Xau. The Shadow Servant dropped down from his attack, landing hard on the ground as he coughed and struggled for air. With great concentration, The Forever Warrior grabbed his foe by the throat and lifted him back to his feet, though wobbly.
"Now, pay the price for attempting to feast of my energy. In my time in Japan, the government was kind enough to entertain me with some of their culture's television programming. let me share what I learned."
Myston cocked both his arms back...and unleashed hell on Xau, his fists flying and striking at amazing speeds, the entire act looking quite a bit like a certain someone's avatar...
He ended with one final, massive punch to Xau's jaw, sending him flying. He then put both his hands together and gathered up energy for an Aura Beam.
"Kaaaa....meeeeee...haaaaaa...meeeeee...HAAAAAAA!!" He roared, using inspiration from another show the Japanese government had provided him with. The beam struck home, further adding to the pain that Xau was going through, then exploding and sending his body crashing to the ground.
Rather then focus another attack on Xau or Ahul, Myston aimed his hands and unleashed several Aura Discs at the Agastache, looking to destroy it and aid his ally.

"Attacking helpless flora?" Ahul cackled as he swooped over Myston's head. "And they call us monsters. However, if you wish for there to be less life in this world, who am I to argue? Hell, let me help!" The winged horror perched upon a building, his fang-lined maw twisted in an unnerving grin. Ahul cooed, then clicked his throat, but beyond this he seemed to do nothing. Myston charged at the flying reptile, only to realize too late that he had been preparing to unleash a particularly nasty frost bolt. As the ray of pure, skin tearing, bone chilling cold ripped through Myston's chest, all Ahul could do was laugh. "Of course, I'm going to start with you."
Myston fought through the pain, as he had done so many times before. His body temperature was dangerously low, his skin was so chapped that it cracked in several places, yet, like the seasoned warrior he was, he did not surrender. "I will defeat you, fiend!" Myston bellowed.
"Aren't we judgemental?" Ahul cackled back. "Just because I work for the avatar of Death itself doesn't mean I'm evil. Death is a natural part of life, you know. The most fun part, really - at least when you're inflicting it."
"Do you ever SHUT UP?!!" Myston roared as he slashed at Ahul with his horn laser. The bird-like reptile screamed in pain as it sliced into his belly, only to continue laughing shortly after.
"You know, I just can't stop thinking of that nice Entrail Necklace I'm going to make. Should your heart be the center piece? Or your brain?" He cackled some more, then stopped. "Wait, are brains technically entrails? Or is that just the stuff in the thoracic and abdominal cavities?"
"I do not care!" Myston shouted before blasting Ahul with a particularly powerful aura disc, sending the flying terror careening through the skies with a squawk of agony.
As Ahul slowly tried to regain control of his flight, he passed by Lenneth. The bird hocked another deadly loogie at the mech, laughing as the huge gob of dissolving muscus began to eat through more of the mech's armor. He loved his little running gags.
The pterosaur swooped back to face the Karmian, his red eyes alight with sadistic glee. "I just thought of a game," he cooed.
Myston roared furiously again and began to punch at the pterodactyl, only to miss and hit the surrounding buildings with each hit. "Get! Out! Of! My! HEAD!" he bellowed as each fist smashed into a different building.
"But it's a fun game!" Ahul said. The pterosaur suddenly grabbed Myston in a massive hug, nestling the Karmian between his leathery wings. A gargantuan pulse of dark energy surged through the pterosaur and into Myston, sapping a great deal of the Karmian's spirit energy before sending him rocketing into another building with a sudden explosive blast of evil force.
Ahul then fluttered away from the Karmian and, with a graceful yet unmistakably violent flap of his wings, sent a huge, icy wind towards him and the severely damaged buildings he left in his wake. As the cutting wind swept towards him, the buildings groaned, swayed, and began to fall towards him as well. "It's called Dominos," the pterosaur sneered as the massive structures and the piercing wind all headed straight for Myston...

Ahul's cackle suddenly turned into a shriek of pain as twin beams of energy lanced into his back, dropping the pterosaur to the ground. Lenneth decloaked nearby, smoke stil rising from the ends of her shoulder cannons as the retracted back into the machine's body.
"If you think some giant trees are gonna stop me, you're dead wrong,"Natalie shouted as she unleashed a volley of ice missiles at the giant agastache, freezing the tree solid before a strike from her sword shattered the plant into thousands of pieces. "You're next ugly."
More ice missiles exploded across Xau's body, coating the insect in ice and slowing his movements down to a crawl, giving Lenneth enough time to close the gap before slashing with her sword, the energy coated blade cutting through armor and flsh alike. This was followe dup by several more rapid slashes, driving Xau back away from Ahul and Myston. More ice missiles detonated across the insect, even as he retaliated, swiping with his clas and putting some cuts in Lenneth's armor, but not slowin the machine, or her pilot, down at all.
"You're going down," Natalie said as she thrust forward with the shield blade, ready to strike Xau in th chest...

With Xau being taken care of by Lenneth, Myston freed himself from the rubble of the buildings and turned his attention to Ahul. "Come down here and fight me." Myston requested mentally to his enemy.
Ahul just sneered in response "I'm a creature of the sky, what makes you think I'll lower myself to your level?"
"Because...you don't have a choice." Myston said simply.
Reaching out with his Telekinesis, Myston yanked violently at Ahul, slamming him to the ground with tremendous force. He then leapt into the air, his arm cocked upward, his hand stiffened into a chopping stance.
"Ganzan Ryouzan HA!" he shouted as he brought the arm down, right into Ahul's skull. With the immense power Myston had, the arm came down with all the force of a heavy club on a human's skull. Ahul fell back, his entire head screaming in pain. But Myston would show him no mercy. He grasped onto his neck, squeezing the air away and forcing him to open his beak to gasp for air.
This is just what Myston wanted.
Taking careful aim, Myston unleashed his Horn Laser directly into Ahul's mouth, the laser cutting through the soft tissue and exploding within, sending flesh and blood alike into the air. Ahul knew he had to do something. Thinking quickly, he unleashed a dark pulse that sent a wave of pain through Myston and caused him to back off. But only for a second, as he used his Telekinetic powers to hoist Ahul into the air and hold him in place as he launched one big Aura Disc at him....
