Inside of Armada's cockpit, Jok-Toon grimaced. That last salvo had nearly destroyed Armada outright. As it was, explosions had racked the inside of his cockpit, and shrapnel had embedded itself within him in several spots, including a large piece that had stabbed him in his gut.
Jok-Toon was now bleeding profusely. He tried to wipe off the external monitor, but only succeeded in smearing his own blood on it. But he could still see that Jericho was advancing on him.
"So this....this is how it ends eh?" Jok-Toon whispered to himself. "Ar...Armada, are you still functional? Do you have any weapons still working?"
"Afffff-irma-ma-ma-tive." Came Armada's severely warbled voice "Eye Laserrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is still-still-still-still-still func............tioning."
Jok-Toon continued to breathe heavily. "Can you move?"
"Mobility has been..........reduced to too low a lev-lev-level, only one leeeeeeeeeeeeeeg remains func........"
"Functioning, got it. Fine, just.....fire it at him."
"T-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-targetinnnnnnng is offline."
Jok-Toon can only sigh "Figures." he mutters.
He takes hold of the manual aiming for the Visor Laser, aims squarely for Jericho's left Firestorm Cannon, and fires two lasers in rapid succession. The cannon takes both hits, but seems little worse for wear. Jok-Toon tries aiming the chaingun at him, but the arm is badly damaged. He uses the top arm to aim the gun, and fires. He can only manage a 3-second burst before the chaingun gives out and literally falls apart, leaving Armada with both his bottom arms as useless stubs.
"I advise you to...........eje-eje-eje-eject."
Jok-Toon laughs weakly. "Armada....I'm bleeding to death and barely able to move, and you're suggesting that I eject into an open battlefield? Thanks, but no thanks, I'll stick......with you to the end. We'll go out together, how's that sound? Just tell me, are your communications still working?"
"Affirmmmmmmmmmmative."
"Good, send a signal to Mah-Uhn base, updating them of the situation. Tell them....I fought until the end. And....tell Dore-Ay.....to slap that stupid Klennie for sending that useless idiot walrus as help."
And with that, Jok-Toon lost consciousness.

While Dhor Hra Zor did not fully grasp the extent of Armada's damage, he could tell that the mech needed help. Out of a bizarre sense of camaraderie - an unintended side effect of the Beyonders' tinkering with his fragile psyche - Dhor telekinetically lifted the damaged mech into the air and out of Jericho's immediate grasp. Being absent minded, Dhor also dropped Armada from the air without cushioning its fall. But at least the gargoyle's heart was in the right place. Dhor then bellowed a challenge to Jericho, flailing his tentacles in anger. Jericho responded by lashing out with one of its gravity flails, trying to reduce Dhor Hra Zor to a bloody smear on the ground. Dhor tried to push it back with his telekinesis, but was too slow, being sent reeling into the air as a result. Jericho pushed the flail out farther to strike Dhor again.
This was what the Beyonder controlled kaiju was waiting for. Dhor grabbed the flail with his tentacles, augmenting them with his telekinesis. Slowly, straining with each breath, Dhor began to move the flail around Jericho - aiming for the mech's less protected back. It was incredibly difficult, and for a while Jericho thought Dhor was merely holding back the flail instead of trying to use it himself. But eventually the mech caught on, extending its other flails in an attempt to swat Dhor away.
Luckily, Dhor's team-mates caught on as well. "He's aiming for the back armor!" shouted Cincindelion. The insectoid alien immediately leapt into the fray, creating multiple copies of himself in mid air and swarming around Jericho. The massive mech was briefly distracted, swatting at the copies... only to see the real Cincindelion had joined Dhor Hra Zor in grabbing the flail. By the time Jericho re-focused on Dhor and the real Cincindelion, they had gotten the flail to his back. Then, with a final physical and telekinetic push they slammed the flail into the mech's own less armored back. Jericho fell forward from the force of its own flail while Cincindelion teleported himself and Dhor Hra Zor to safety.
Hundreds of meters away, Cincindelion and Dhor reappeared on the ground. The alien arthropod laughed. "That was very, very clever!" he cackled. Dhor nodded to the insectoid, but was not in the mood for frivolities. The tentacled monster leapt back into the fray, wracking Jericho's from afar with his laser beam eyes while running towards it. His tentacles fired several cluster blasts at Jericho, who was slowly turning to face him. Dhor managed to reach the mech before it could turn fully around and, using his telekinetically enhanced legs, kangaroo kicked the massive mech back into the ground. Having knocked the mech over twice, Dhor retreated, landing back next to Cincindelion.

"Missed me...?" a draconic voice rasped, as an anti-matter beam slammed into Jericho's damaged back.
The hell dragon dropped down in front of the mech, growling, fully healed from his injuries due to spending so much time out of the battle.
"Needed time to think..." was Shaarlunas' only excuse for not joining in on the last string of attacks. The hell dragon the jumped into the air again, landing on one of the Stonehenge Cannons.
"These things have GOT to go!" Shaarlunas howled, firing an anti-matter beam down the barrel of one of the cannons and jumping away. The initial explosion did little...
The following reaction, however, did... The anti-matter beam reacted with all the unspent shells in the cannon, detonating all of them and letting a plume of fire cascade from the cannon from the furious explosions.
He didn't stop to check his work, the mech would kill him if he did, and he immediately lunged at another cannon, gripping it and repeating his last attack, stuffing another anti-matter beam down the barrel of the Stonehenge Cannon and detonating its shells. Shaarlunas was a little slow, though, and was blown back from the explosions, his flesh charred badly.
He didn't let that stop him, as he pulled himself to his feet, and lunged at the final cannon, grasping it. The hell dragon inhaled, before screaming as pain lanced through his body, the Firestorm Cannon unloading its pay load on him. He was too far into this to let a little pain stop him though, even as blood poored freely from his wounds. Shaarlunas howled in fury, firing one last anti-matter beam down the final Stonehenge Cannon, pushing away seconds before the explosions went off.
The dragon landed painfully, dropping to one knee as his regeneration kicked in again, desperately trying to heal from his recent damage.
"Take... that... you damn mecha bastard..."
Shaarlunas forced himself back to his feet, turning to Jericho and preparing for the worst. He hoped his attacks had been worth it, that those cannons were dealt with.

Cicindelion stood tall next to Dhor, watching as the chaotic dragon finished his attack on the cannons. He chuckled to himself... Jericho's weapons were all slowly being disabled. It wouldn't be long until the machine was reduced to scrap. Suddenly, he remembered that there was still one weapon nobody bothered to deal with.
"That goddamn blast from the sky!"
Cicindelion gazed up, then taking off into the air. Higher and higher he flew. Finally, the alien had made it into space... Where he had been traveling for so long. He looked around, trying desperately to find the source of the hellish attack. At long last he spotted it... a massive satellite, orbiting the planet.
Without hesitation, Cicindelion launches an energy disk at the satellite. The disk slams into the weapon, slicing into its hull. But it still floats along fine. Cicindelion is surprised by that, but immediately creates his energy blades and charges the satellite, stabbing into the hull. He tears the blades out and flies backwards. Still, the satellite floats along.
Cicindelion is visibly annoyed at this point and raises his wings, spawning his copies. All of the copies and he himself surround the satellite and raise their arms up, spawning energy disks. All at once, the disks are launched in perfect synchronization, all of them slamming into the satellite. Cicindelion hopes that this time, the satellite will be crippled enough to be of no use. His allies could not afford to take another attack from such a devastating weapon...

Rosie looked around the area. It was in ruins, but so far the destruction had barely even touched the jungle that made up the Nest’s primary defense. He hissed and shook his fur, sending a cloud of dust falling from its white form. The Earth machine let out a groan-like sound as it turned around, kicking one of its enemies to the ground while firing more of its rounds.
As Valcanis’ body was flung past him, Rosie quickly beat his chest and charged it, roaring as he did. Jericho didn’t ignore this and pointed its Firestorm Cannons. For just a second, the entire area was silent before countless rounds of kaiju-sized bullets tore into the ground, and then flesh, of Rosie. The walrus squealed loudly as its body was picked up by the sheer amount of firepower and thrown backward.
Back at the nest, Saberon hissed as he watched the events unfold. “Get up, damn it!” He sneered, pounding his desk, “GET UP!”
As if he heard the demands, Rosie slowly climbed to his feet, shaking blood and loose fur from his form. The mecha began to fire again, but Rosie managed to dodge. He ran for almost five seconds, and while slow, his speed and smaller size allowed him to move a tad faster than Jericho could move his arms.
He found his shelter.
The walrus leaped as best as he could, coming down next to the remains of Armada and pulling up the machine as if a blanket. What remained of its body began to spark and shatter as the Firestorm Cannons blasted the hell out of it.
Saberon grinned. “Good.” He hissed.
Another attack had gained Jericho’s attention and the machine turned to face it. Rosie snorted and looked around. With little effort, he pushed Armada off, but kept his grip on its torn side. He looked down at the demolished mecha, and then as Jericho. The walrus sneered and snorted… Jericho had his back turned…
Rosie hoisted the remains of Armada onto his back and laid it across his arms as if a spear. He took several steps back, snorting as strange liquids gushed from the mecha and onto him.
Saberon snarled in his seat and stood up, “FIND A REAL USE FOR THAT DAMN MECH AND MAMMAL!”
With a thunderous roar, Rosie tossed the remains of Armada right into the back on Jericho! The towering robot quickly stumbled forward as its armor cracked and exploded. What was left of Armada fell apart as if glass, barely leaving anything but its head and chest. Jericho’s back, already weakened, now spewed fire and thick clouds of smoke as what was left of Jericho fell to the Earth.
Jericho let out a low groan again and slowly turned around. Rosie lifted his head and grinned. He rolled his shoulders and began to charge forward, even as Jericho lifted his gun.

((OOC: Whee 11 o'clock again))
“A rogue force, and surprisingly pragmatic and intelligent at that,” Syphriss comments with delight as he watches the attack on Jericho’s satellite commence. “And now we cut down our target’s weapons one by one, disabling the prey before striking the final blow. Eight felines and a single steel rodent…well, perhaps I would be more justified in saying ‘seven.’ And if I recall, the humans consider this a ‘lucky’ digit…well, for us in the Alliance, certainly. For them, perhaps not.”
“Perhaps my memory is failing me,” one Deity scientist queries tentatively, “but don’t the Bartosians actually have a pilot in that?”
“…well, we can hope that they make widespread use of clones,” his superior responds drily. “Good pilots are few and far between, and so are the fragments of that machine right now.”
~~~~~ As Rosie charges Jericho, the wrathful Klenthurian beast gleefully and willingly heading straight-on with intent to tank the firepower from the mech, the offending arm is suddenly yanked off-guard and askew by a strong pull, as if the main body had suddenly been magnetized, yanking the gun aside. The powerful bullets unleash upwards and to the side, the devastating payload skimming Rosie’s shoulder as the beast continues his mad charge.
To his opposite side, Renneth rises up and rockets in, his own body drawn towards Jericho’s. The smoking crater from the point-blank shot still remains clearly visible, as do the other gaping holes from other Stonehenge shots, but one of the larger ones from earlier shots is now clearly plugged with the remnants of the discarded Cannon that Renneth himself had assailed, replacing mass flayed away by its very shells. Repulsing Shaarlunas aside and out of the way into a clump of scorched Klenthurian vegetation, the magnetic monster immediately begins to take up where his draconian ally left off, targeting the already-damaged Cannons with intent to finish the job that he had started.
While Jericho sluggishly tries to bring its firepower to bear on the new target while multitasking with its other assailants, Renneth simply glides above the machine, his sextet of slabs locked to his back and creating a fanned-out frill-wing design, their energy charges exhibited a golden halo around his hooked saurian spines. Without the dexterity to physically reach Renneth immediately, Jericho is forced to unlock its Stonehenge Cannons and send them angling upwards at the Deity daikaiju, right into range of his own weaponry.
Within mere seconds of each other, both weapons fire at each other, the six of Renneth’s slabs dispersing and all pointing directly downwards at Jericho from above as their master spreads his arms, floating above his larger target with his spinning blades around him. Series of golden pulse waves emanate through the air and sky over the GDF mecha as the energy beams, charged over the other Alliance member’s assaults release their blasts, looking almost like the stereotypical light beams raining down from the heavens. Massive explosions, more heat and light than actual damage impact as always, obscure the contact zone, though some of the results can already be seen, as only one Stonehenge shell emerges from the aftermath, punching a hole straight through the crater already in the middle of the creature’s chest.
Before the light has faded, Renneth whips out his arm, and all of the slabs shoot to its side, fanning out in a circular sunburst pattern as they rotate around it, using it as a central axis lengthwise as the magnetic hematite quickly transforms into a whirling makeshift discsaw. Just as Shaarlunas had done before him, ignoring the wounds inflicted on his body, Renneth draws back his opposite arm, and one of the Stonehenge Cannons, blistered and blackened on its outside armor even more, rockets up to meet him. With only the slightest facial twitch of satisfaction, he brings the discsaw slabs slashing down around and overhis head, sending them skittering through and over the surface of the metal object with enormous force.
Rapid-fire clanging noises begin to echo over the Lizard’s Nest, akin to a firearm being discharged at an object, the ping of metal beating on metal, as repeated strikes continued to batter the armor of the Cannon, slowly bending and deforming the target area inwards. Amidst the spraying sparks, Renneth continues to press his arm inwards, the slabs molding to the countours of the Cannon, picking up velocity and beginning to revolve around their own central axes, six spinning propellers in a twirling disc. The scream of metal increases to a earsplitting pitch as the remaining twin railguns refocus themselves on the Deity kaiju’s body, coating the visible limb in spraying fire for several seconds more.
The noise is cut off as the other twin Stonehenge Cannons fire their shells at the magnetic beast, who successfully manages to flip part of his body aside to dodge one of the massive weapons. The other shot plows through his shoulder, removing his discsaw arm and sending the six slabs spiraling off to the side along with their master. However, as Renneth himself whips off at a tangent, the damaged Cannon can be seen twirling in the opposite direction, a visible rend in the blackened, detonation-weakened armor. This too is promptly obscured as the off-kilter slabs quickly regain their balanace and orientation, rearranging themselves into an offensive array and firing another half-dozen heat beams, energy drawn from the friction of the impacts, at the damaged weaponry.
As Jericho’s Cannon is blown away to his opposite side, Renneth holds up his one remaining hand, yanking another railgun towards himself away from the gravity flail, his eye spike crackling with more force, apparently preparing to emulate Shaarlunas’ internal assault pattern. However, as his claws close upon the weapon’s surface, he suddenly changes tact, flipping it over and shoving it opening-down into the burnt Lizard’s Nest earth. The gravity flail resists him, but with his strength and magnetism, he successfully submerges it, continuing to charge his beam as he bobs up and down like a child trying to hold a beach ball underwater.
It doesn’t take long for Jericho to find some alternative method to stopping the beam charge, namely by turning the third Cannon his way and firing yet another slug before redocking in rapid succession. This plays right into Renneth’s three-clawed hands, however, for he merely releases his clutches, sending the Cannon bobbing up, and directly into the line of fire, the shell accelerated by Renneth’s own pull. The massive slug smashes a fair-sized hole into its own partner’s armor, sending the object skewing away.
Slapping what remains of his somewhat-repaired opposite arm back on, Renneth summons his slabs again and takes aim at Jericho with his charged energy blast…
"Sir! We've lost the Number 3 cannon and we're losing contact with the satellite laser! Both Firestorm Cannons are out of comission!"
"Dammit! I don't care what happens to Jericho at this point! I want them all wiped out! Fire the satellite laser! We're taking every last one of the SOB's down with us!"
"Yes sir! Sending orders now!"
----
High above the Earth, the damaged satellite weapon still continued to hold on, even if only barely, as it began to lock on to the new coordinates provided by GDF Command. A familiar glow of power appeared at the focusing array as the weapon prepared to dicharge it's attack. On the surface, Jericho fired the two remaining Stonehenge Cannons at Renneth, the explosions tearing the magnetic monster apart and sending shrapnel flying every which way. Although Renneth was still alive, in some vauge sense of the word, he wouldn't be for much longer once Jericho was through with him.
The machine continued its assault lifting both Gravity Flails off the ground and swinging them in wide arcs, seeking to hit every last one of its enemies. Rosie wheezed in agony as one flail struck him in the chest, sending a spurt of blood flying from the walrus' mouth, while another slammed into Cincindelion, cracking his armored carapace and catapulting him several dozen meters away. Shaarlunas got in on the fun by being smacked upside the head with a Gravity Flail, crashing the demonic dragon to the ground as the other flail slammed into the frail Dhor Hra Zor, leaving just about everyone except for Valcanus down for the moment.
The volcanic monster meerly sneered as he prepared to assault Jericho again, when a beam of light pierce the heavens, striking Valcanus dead on. The monster roared as his rocky exterior was stripped away by the sheer power of the beam weapon. The attack only lasted for a few seconds, but when it was done, Valcanus was lying there, seemingly crippled. Jericho still stood tall, despite the punishment he had sustained so far. But even this mighty machine couldn't hold out forever, especially if these monsters still continued to fight.
((OOC: This'll probably be the last round here, so get your attacks in while you can.))
High above the battlefield, The small squadron of Ground Pounders had watched as Armada was destroyed by Rosie, used as nothing more then a common weapon.
"That Slaggin' Klennie monster just destroyed Armada!" one of the Bartosian's hollered over the communications array.
"All right boys, listen and listen good." came a deep, growling voice, the author being the squad leader "We're going to make two passes, one on the robot. The other...not on the robot, is everyone clear?"
Several shouts of agreement came over the communications array "But what about Dore-Ay? If he finds out..."
"I'll shoulder the responsibility for this. Besides....I doubt Dore-Ay will object too much to what we're about to do."
As one, all 5 Ground Pounders dived in "Aim for that hole that Armada started on, in his back!" shouted the commander.
Each unloaded with everything they had. five lasers and ten cannons total struck Jericho, directly on or around the damaged section.
"Pull up and fire missiles!"
All five Ground Pounders pulled up, and each unleashed a large missile from the back cannons. The five missiles exploded at various locations around Jericho's body, covering him in a temporary swath of flame.
The Ground Pounders circled, and then dived again. Once again, they opened fire, lasers and cannon shells shredding into their target....
Rosie.
The mighty Klenthurian walrus roared in surprise and shock as the Pounders pulled back up. He turned to face them, only to get struck with a volley of five missiles.
"All right boys, we're done here. Get outside the battlefield area, we'll come back once it's over to start retrieving what's left of Armada....and Jok-Toon."
Dhor barely managed to get up, his bruised and bleeding body fighting him the entire way. The gargoyle's soft skin was cut in several places, its normal green coloration marred by the blood pooling beneath the surface. The once cheerful monster had been devastated physically, but his will to fight still remained strong. He was tired, though, and weakened considerably. His normally energetic tactics would have to go by the wayside.
Dhor stealthily hovered around the arena, positioning himself behind the damaged mecha. Slowly and stealthily the tentacled beast telekinetically pulled all the metal he could find - mainly pieces of fallen armor from Jericho and the remains of Armada - and began to crush it into a sphere. With the large metal ball firmly gripped between his tentacles' pincers, Dhor began to pump the metal full of electricity. A weak howl of anger slithered out of Dhor's lips as he shot the ball from his tentacles, sending it hurtling towards Jericho with a mix of telekinesis and bolts of electricty. The ball struck Jericho square in the back, shocking the robot and damaging its armor.
Snarling weakly, Dhor released his laser eye beams upon the mech, slashing it twice. The Beyonder beast then fell to the ground, far too tired to continue the fight.
Anglarun was up and about, despite being greatly injured in various parts of his body. He had a massive gash running from his back to his stomach, a few teeth were broken, and his fins were singed to nothing. This was ignored, however, and the Callistan fish was back in the fight. With one of his allies down, he took the opportunity to actually join in, and proceeded to accurately fire several lightning bolts into the open piece of armor on Jericho's back. The mech spun around slowly but intimidatingly, and prepared to smash the fish. Anglarun predicted this attack and quickly dodged before jumping on top of the gravity flail that had just swung. The fish continued by running up the arm and latching his feet on the Stonehenge Cannons. He then let himself fall down so he could hang his head directly in front of the armor hole. Jericho couldn't do anything but detach the cannons. Perfect.
Anglarun hopped off and got Rosie to help with this attack. Rosie grabbed the hovering Stonehenge Cannons and, using all his strength, held them to the ground. The fish jumped on top to provide extra support. He then fired a lighting bolt directly into the top of one of the cannons, causing the same malfunction it did earlier. It fired, hitting Jericho's foot, causing the mech to fall backward. Rosie then threw the Stonehenge Cannons at the falling mech, landing on mark. One of the cannon barrels actually got lodged in Jericho's back. When the mech hit the ground, it jammed it in further. Anglarun snapped his jaws in happiness as he fired another electrical bolt at the cannon, causing it to fire. A massive burst of flame shot out the back of the cannon, signaling massive damage.
Jericho was left there with a giant cannon jammed in its back and fire shooting out of its armor. This thing was almost destroyed...
Shaarlunas winced, his body smoking from damages not yet healed. The hell dragon then snarled, looking at the battered form that was Jericho. He knew like all the others that this mech wouldn't last much longer. He charged at the massive mech, roaring in fury. Jumping and taking flight, the hell dragon pulled around to Jericho's weakened back.
He charged his antimatter reserves as much as he could, and then launched three beams, one from his mouth and two from his eyes. The beams impacted on Jericho's back, igniting several explosions on it and making the mech lurch forward. Shaarlunas fired off one final blast before the smoke cleared, igniting a few more explosions before pulling up and away, hoping he hit something vital.
Cicindelion had been greeted rather rudely as he returned to the battle. Jericho had smacked him with its flails, sending the alien flying hundreds of meters away. He had only now begun to rise up, and was very slow to get to his feet.
"Alright... you-u-u bastard... I've s-s-still got some f-f-fight in me!"
Cicindelion flew into the air and behind the massive mech, and spread his wings, spawning all of his copies once more. The Cicindelions all raise their arms into the air weakly, spawning energy disks.
"Die."
The energy disks all launch at once and slam into the back of the mech, setting off the cannon that was lodged in the back. An explosion occurs, rocking the mech as smoke covers its entire back. All of the copies disappear as the true Cicindelion begins to lean backwards and slowly falls to the ground, blacking out...
Rosie slowly recovered from the assault given to him by the Ground Pounders. As he rose to his feet, the walrus roared in rage. He wasn’t just angry. He was pissed! The walrus shook his shaggy body, sending a wave of black dust and ash falling to the ground as his eyes scanned the ruined soil. Now completely oblivious to the battle with Aramada, Rosie leaped forward. The ground shuddered and moaned under his bulk crashing down and his huge hands stabbed into the burnt ground.
With a roar of satisfaction, the walrus yanked two of the weapons, one in each hand, out of the Earth.
“CRUSH THEM!” Saberon demanded back at the Nest, “KILL THEM ALL!” He spat, already knowing what he was going to do to Dore-Ay and those mammals for this.
Rosie snarled as the crew of the pounders panicked, trying to escape his clutches. First his left hand closed slowly. The walls of the vehicle caved in and the weapons exploded in their holsters. The pilots screamed in horror before a flash of light and a loud bang ended their lives as Rosie crushed the first pounder in his might, unforgiving fist.
The other pounder continued to try and move in Rosie’s hand. In a fit of fear, one of the hairy aliens inside leaped out of the hatch opening, falling for over forty meters before splattering on the solid ground like a ripe watermelon.
The other pilot inside begged for his life as Rosie spun around. Jericho was distracted and his back was to Rosie again. He took several steps back, grunting as he wound up his arm like a major league player. With an echoing roar, he threw the Ground Pounder…
The creature inside continued to scream before the weapon smashed hard into Jericho’s damaged back. The weapons of the pounder all exploded at once, causing a small explosion to rise up from the impact area as chunks of burning, and smoking, metal fell down and clang against one another.
The weapon groaned as it slowly turned, but Rosie was already on it. The walrus managed to close in the distance. While slow, the walrus was still a bit, even by a low margin, faster than Jericho. His might arms wrapped around the mech’s leg again, but he didn’t try and lift. The walrus focused all of his strength in a hug, a hug that quickly began to crush the already weaken armor of its leg.
Jericho, however, wasn’t stupid and kicked out slowly. Rosie’s feet left the Earth as Jericho tried to kick him off, but the walrus didn’t budge, even as Jericho’s other foot came up, trying to kick him off. After several blows, Rosie was finally knocked off, his body rolled off, his fur bloody from the titanic blows that Jericho’s massive foot brought him…
But as Jericho went to take a step, the weakened leg suddenly exploded outward. Something had finally given. A huge piece of metal fell off its knee plate and the mech topped down, fire and smoke spewing forth from the leg and all of its ungodly weight came crashing down on its back…
