This is where players may discuss bosses or any plans on how to take down bosses. A separate thread will be made tomorrow for signing up for boss battles.

If I manage to make it to the sign-ups in time (I've got to be somewhere later today), I know I'm planning on sending Lenneth out. Monsters with focused ranged attacks or powerful piercing weapons would be my best bet when going up against this thing.

Zorn has a fever, and the only cure, is more SMASH!
This first boss looks pretty bad ass.

Well, since Bigor is my only guy not involved in a fight right now, it'll be him by default. This looks like it'll fun. But unless more mechs join in the action, it's gonna be pretty obvious which orbs we're going to to be targeting.

I'm kinda hoping that the 3 vs 2 fight in North America ends soon. Koal is probably the only kaiju that I created that is best suited for fighting Tormata. Well, Bufo may be useful, but Koal would be able to handle Tormata much better than Bufo could. He isn't mechanical and he isn't organic, so Tormata's orb beams won't do tremendous damage on him. So he would have an advantage against him. But chances are that the fight won't be done til after the boss fight. Same goes for Evergreen. So I'll probably have to send in Bufo. Giga is a close range fighter and would be pretty much useless if he was in this boss fight. Bufo, on the other hand, can fight at just about any range.

Would the fight be taking place in the LZ? If so, Tortonne's in. If not, I might not be able to participate, depending on whether DH gets done with classes so we can finish our dialogue.

I'll send Thresher in, assuming you have a part before the fight where it also gets the GA's attention and forces Saberon to cancel the ambush on Sucho and Theraga and have Thresher move to the battle location.

I'll pass on this one. School's going to be eating my arse for the next month with SATs, finals, and literally some three hundred damn tidbits of info about the English language that I've been procrastinating cramming into my brain...and all you buggers outside Cali seem to get out a month earlier than me, too... >.>
But, seriously, isn't this guy...a bit small for a boss? Yes, I know he's got ludicrous firepower and defense, but still...it's going to look something like the kaiju version of Neo vs. Smiths with six guys at his size or bigger than him rushing him from all directions... XD Also, are you planning to have the players write his counterattacks onto their own kaiju, or have someone post his attacks (I'm guessing he gets extra) every other post, rather than having six people nail him in a row...?

Keep in mind this is just the first boss, so he's not very big. There's plenty of other baddies that will show up, and will be larger than this guy. Regarding the whole attack issue, the combat system for bosses is still being worked out. The sign ups will be put up within a day or two. The battle takes place in the Lawless Zone to allow for easier access for most kaiju in the game at the moment.
