Vladimir Ilchov put on his coat and boots. He opened his bunker door and stepped out into the frozen landscape. He looked at the giant hangar sitting in front of him. Vladimir pulled out his phone and issued the command.
The giant hangar door slowly opened and revealed Russian Nuclear Tactics' newest creation, Warhead.
"Is Nikolai ready?" Vladimir asked his nephew Dimitri as he walked outside with several men.
"He's getting in the cockpit right now."
"Good. I need to see what Warhead can do. We've spent too much money on this project for it to fail.
"Uncle, I don't think its going to come close to failing. I've already seen what it can do and Mr. Stratislav is an amazing pilot. This project is going to be a huge success for us."
"Well, what are we waiting for, bring it out."
The symbol on Warhead's face lit up, and it stepped outside.
Vladimir connected his phone to Warhead's intercom.
"Nikolai, are you ready to impress me."
"I think so Mr. Ilchov."
"Okay. And please call me Vladimir. I want you to think of me more as a friend than a boss. Anyway, let's see this thing fly."
Warhead's jet pack started to make a noise as the invisible nuclear flame lit. Warhead lifted off the ground amd started to fly around the compound.
Vladimir just stared. Warhead landed and Vladimir commanded Nikolai to fire the Tsar Ray.
Warhead aimed at the ground and fired the nuclear rays. A giant piece of ice turned into a glowing hole.
Nikolai ran Warhead through its various abilities. Vladimir finally told Nikolai to bring Warhead back into the hangar.
Everyone gathered in the hangar under Vladimir's command. Nikolai and his crewmembers stepped out of Warhead and came down to listen to Mr. Ilchov.
"That may have been the most impressive demonstration of pure power I have ever seen in my life. I believe that Warhead is a new beginning for us."
Everyone cheered in relief that their boss was impressed after months of research.
Vladimir continued, "I think that in return for your hard labor, I shall through a company banquet back in Moscow tomorrow night."
This made everyone even happier, and was followed by more cheeers.
Vladimir walked back to the bunker accompanied by Dimitri and Nikolai.
"I am very proud of both of you. Warhead is amazing. What I'm wondering though, is who else has machines of Warhead's nature?"
Dimitri responded with, "I believe that the Americans have a company called Corona-Eclipse Enterprises who have at least one machine."
"Hmmm. Maybe we could work with them some day."
Nikolai responded, " Good, I'm looking forward to fighting with someone else."
Vladimir then commanded, "Nikolai, call in my plane. I'd much rather be back in Moscow than here in this frozen field."
"Yes Uncle."
Vladimir packed his things and turned on his laptop to find out how to contact Corona-Eclipse. After a bit of searching he found a phone number. He dialed it and prepared to talk.
