Name: Renneth
Species: Alien/Scientific Mutation
Alignment: Grand Alliance
Height: 35 m
Length: N/A
Mass: 40,000 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Abilities:
1. Regeneration – Rank 3: Renneth has fairly swift healing for his flesh, but prefers to simply use his magnetic qualities to make his body “attract” itself back together, literally meaning his arm could get knocked off, and while he still suffers the damage, he just forces it to stick back on. Most of his torso and protrusions can be treated as “destroyables” this way. Because of his stamina and pain resistances, as well as the fact his magnetic field focuses around his own center, he can swiftly pull together and reconstruct his frame from even the smallest fragments, even retrieving the molecules, say, from having a beam blast part of him off and slapping them back on.
2. Strength Increase – Rank 4: He has an affinity for heavy blows, and either enhances his velocity/attacking object durability via his field or whips up a lot of velocity for his defensive slabs. When he does shoot in for melee, he is surprisingly strong, especially combining his strength with his magnetic field, capable of lifting up to six times his own weight with ease. Often, this strength goes into penetrating or directly damaging strikes, rather than a throw or tossdown.
3. Improved Stamina – Rank 4: With his inorganic tendencies, pain immunity, and powerful regeneration, Renneth is very difficult to keep down, even when he does get hit.
4. Magnetic Field (Telekinesis – Rank 3): See Special Abilities. He can manipulate things with his field; he can now actually read minds with his field, to an extent; he can't rip out raw thoughts, but he can shove his field into their brain and read the electrical signals to see whether they have aggressive thoughts, are about to attack or flee, etc. He is better at the reverse, capable of disorienting, dazing, or causing kaiju to lose their train of thought by concentrating an EM field around their head. Poor humans who get stuck within his field for more than a few minutes without proper shielding lose focus, coherency, movement, IQ points and eventually sanity in that relative order, if not struck by flying debris first.
5. Improved Melee Weapons – Rank 7: Renneth likes sharp objects that go at high speeds. Because of his "loose" fighting style, he can modify his weapons to be very powerful. They negate regen by blasting energy/shrapnel into the wound, and have the explosive-tipped effect (due to energy charging from his other abilities), creating massive blasts of energy on contact.
6. Improved Senses – Rank 2: While he can’t actually “see” or “smell” in the normal sense, Renneth’s magnetic field grants him the ability to know everything going on in his own personal space. His magnetic field extends out to about 2x a normal, unenhanced senses kaiju's vision range.
7. Resistance to Pain – Rank 2: Says it all.
Attacks:
1. Energy Ray – Rank 4: While Renneth does not generate his own energy source, he can pull in heat, electricity, and general energy from his surroundings and concentrate it in his field prior to firing. This can come from pretty much any metal part of his body where he focused it, from his eye spike to claws to shields, but he suffers from an above-average charge/collection time.
2. Spine Launcher – Rank 1: Renneth can launch metal spikes/spines from his own frame or surroundings as weapons.
3. Anti-Coagulant Blow – Rank 1: Not truly Anti-Coagulant, but Renneth propels a combination of debris and energy into wounds opened by his weaponry, constantly disintegrating the flesh and hindering the healing process.

Special Ability:
1. Magnetism: Renneth’s calling card is his own, ludicrously strong magnetic field, and his ability to control it in combat. His body does not generate any energy on its own for weapons, yet his ability to polarize and manipulate other objects is akin to a modified form of personal telekinesis. This is noticeable as a harmless but irritating high-pitched, keening noise (like those mosquito ringtones) that plague anyone within a mile or two of his location, vague shimmerings in the air and anywhere around his metallic body parts, and small human-sized objects nearby suffering from being thrown around. He has his own personal area of influence where he can manipulate objects, and can expand this to roughly the edge of his “field of vision” (assumed to be somewhat above that of a normal kaiju’s). This field, obviously, generates most of his attacks/abilities, and is responsible for his existence, sight, survival, flight, weapons, etc. In combat, it is limited by his powers’ levels, with the exception of telekinesis’ low-altitude levitation period, as he doesn’t have anything to stand on anyway; it also allows him to “fly” using the telekinesis ability.
Also, the strength of his field is based on how physically strong he is currently (regeneration does not fix this, only rest). Maintaining levitation and his body parts costs virtually no energy, but attacking can eventually become impossible for him after a long, drawn-out battle.
2. Enhanced Magnetic Field: Renneth's magnetic field has become even stronger, enhancing his abilities to manipulate his own environment. He can combine his magnetic (telekinesis) and enhanced strength to lift creatures four to six times his mass with his field, and can even shift objects eight to ten times his weight (albeit with great exertion and slowly, making it battle useless). This also allows him to propel small objects and weapon projectiles at a ludicrously fast speed, breaking the sound barrier and going as fast as swifter-soaring kaiju, and lets him throw around objects beneath the four-times his own weight limit at around mach 1.
Because of this, his regeneration has discarded fleshy, normal methods for now, discarding his body's internal fluids, and just shoving objects into his own body to make up for mass. He now uses more slabs simultaneously, his senses - and field - have expanded to beyond a normal-seeing kaiju's field of vision, and because of his inorganic tendencies and way of sensing, he has some of the same innate resistances as a machine, for the most part unbothered by toxins and mental manipulations.
Weakness:
1. A kaiju with telekinesis/strong teleportation skills or some physics-defying means of travel or propulsion can resist or counteract use of his powers, depending on how fast their own reflexes are (though likewise, Renneth can do the same to attempts on him). More obviously, if he ever runs into anyone who can completely negate an overly large magnetic field, he’s boned. Completely.
2.Rapid teleportation, or other manners of movement that defy the laws of physics, can prevent Renneth from bringing his combination attacks to bear on a foe, weakening his overall attack strength.
Finisher:
1. Draw and Quarter: Renneth bashes his foes into the sky and expels all the metal from his body, surrounding them completely, then moves the remainder of his field over there, leaving him helpless, but essentially giving them the benefit – or not – of his field. His metal then begins to spin around them in a sphere of shards, pulling them in every distance simultaneously, while shrapnel flies into the center and through the orb, spearing them and tearing them to bits. Energy from the rest of the field is constantly drawn into the center, culminating in a series of massive explosions around the foes ruined body before the entire orb compacts inwards, ripping the remnants to bits, detonating, and magnetically propelling the chunky bits every which way over a half-mile radius.
Personality:
Renneth, when it basically comes down to it, is the kaiju world’s typical silent, stoic, blunt killer. He has no other loyalties except to his alien masters, and gives absolutely no thought or care to anything small that gets in his way, be it GDF or Grand Alliance. He just bulls straight through on the way to his destination, smashes what he needs to smash, smashes anything that takes a potshot at him, then heads back to the aliens ASAP, without wandering. He also tends to ignore kaiju that are not confirmed to be malicious towards him, though he will strike back ferociously if touched. In combat, he is comfortable both in close and far, though tends to play it safe and “poke” the foe with various projectiles or irritators before finding their fortes and weaknesses to exploit. Even then, he seems to be more of a counterattacker, blocking or dodging, then striking back with massive combination attack chains. He tends to sacrifice individual blows to get various weapons and traps into place with his magnetism so he can smash his foes through large chain reactions. Renneth also is fond of explosions and heavy concussive blows, though he will sacrifice even those for efficiency. In battles with more than one foe, he typically goes after a main target or sits it out, picking away at whoever he thinks will be the victor so he can pulverize the weakened remnants; however, he has no problem with brief alliances and is perfectly loyal and caring for them during that time…until his masters dictate that he turn on his “friends’” back, too. Surprisingly, for a kaiju, he is somewhat paranoid and more methodical and cautious than arrogant, though appropriately brave and ruthless, and does get some smug satisfaction from a “job well done.” Basically comes up to an Unnatural Level.
Description:
Despites his origin as an alien, Renneth, in appearance, seems to (very) vaguely draw from the base design of an overpowered, destructive spinosaurus-type dinosaur. With powers based fully on and encircling the realm of magnetism, his appearance is appropriately somewhat metallic and inorganic. Strangely enough, though, he is not a cyborg, merely a living being who has incorporated surrounding elements and objects into his frame, typically silvery slabs of magnetic hematite, etc. Because of this, his physical form seems to have surpassed the needs of typical kaiju, and things such as organs and limbs are almost carelessly discarded from his appearance.
What remains of Renneth’s flesh is actually a blood red in color; however, it is almost always a shiny silvery-brown due to various filings and pieces of metal attracted to and coating him. The underlying color can only be seen after he has reversed his field and expelled everything away from himself, or exhausted much of his field. In terms of shape his head appears similar to the baryonyx, elongated with a protruding snout; however, the contours are all sharpened, and the curves made much harsher, as fitting to a monster, and making the head seem almost mechanical in design, with clear segments and sections. It also tapers off to a sharp point, and lacks eyes altogether, bearing merely empty sockets; the left eye socket also has a spike of magnetic metal protruding out of it five meters or so. Because he clearly doesn’t “see” with these, it can be assumed he senses his surroundings via his field or some similar sense. His mouth is the typical, fang-filled kaiju one, but his tongue appears to be coated in more metallic spikes. An armoring bar of metal runs from the frontal tip of his top and bottom maw to the base of his spine and the top of his neck, respectively; twin metal barbs, five meters or so in length, also hook forwards past his jaw from a point midway to the neck. A trapezoidal flap of metal, typically seen in draconian-type kaiju, emerges from the side of his mouth on the left side, while on the opposite half of his head, another barb, twice as long in length, curves around to just over his shoulder, giving an appearance similar to a ram’s horn.
The basic shape of Renneth’s upper torso is humanoid/bipedal saurian, with a broad chest and two arms, and curves or hunches slightly forwards, like a predator dinosaur. However, rather than bearing some semblance of an hourglass figure with a skinnier waist, as most kaiju do, his chest as well seems vaguely trapezoidal, expanding as it moves downwards, and is slightly bulkier and muscular than the norm. Twin, thick, jagged, somewhat pentagonal (in the form of a rectangle with a triangle tipping it off, similar to a blade’s tip) massive slabs of silvery hematite lie flat across each shoulder, football-pad style in a manner similar to Bagan’s. These are larger than his shoulders and jut out over the edges, with stalactite-type spikes, five to ten meters in length, dangling down. His broad upper torso resembles Heisei Godzilla-like kaiju in shape, with a groove down the middle, but with less obvious man-breasts. However, another massive slab, about five meters thick, is embedded through his frame, clearly slicing through his body (from front to back) from below the neck to make a diagonal, grayish blade that sticks out of his right hip a bit. A second, slightly smaller one crosses horizontally midway along his chest, intersecting the first, while a third, tinier one crosses at another angle up near his shoulder. Various other spines and spears can be seen completely crisscrossing his frame and innards upon closer inspection. The lower left quarter of his body seems to have completely lost all its flesh, and is composed of a thin but sturdy wireframe filling up the volume. Some degree of entrails and muscles can be seen within, along with what looks to be an organ, fused to the nonliving additions.
Renneth’s body completely cuts off at that point, leaving just his bulky upper torso and no legs. A combination of more internals dangle out beneath him, but are almost never seen, due to the intervention of his magnetic powers. His field whips up a brownish, dusty tornado of bladed metal shrapnel, dragged behind him through his powers, with a diameter roughly as long as his body, and that can trail behind him for up to sixty or seventy meters (longer if he wishes it) when he hovers higher above the ground. This wraps around him from the waist down and tends to cause a, well, tornado-esque path of destruction superior to any kaiju’s mundane trampling as he goes, and tends to pull more and more objects into it, causing him to have to “shed” his twister every so often when it completely fills up. Its color and content are also a good indicator of where he has been traveling and what he has been fighting.
His arms, like his chest, are fleshy with various metal ingrains and shards, the most noticeable of which are twin elbow spines. They are slightly lanky and end in a blunted, spherical tip which seems to be a molten fusion of bone and hematite. Three, large, twisted, molten spikes, about ten meters in length each float around each tip, forming his claws. These glide around and can be fused into his hands when he needs contact, or can be used for distant physically manipulation. While their main configuration involves a three clawed hand, he can also interlock the three parallel to each other for blade-like weapons, or align them parallel in a cylindrical shape to focus energy. He also has the stereotypical spinosaurus spines from his back…to an extent. They come with three “frame” bones: the top and bottom curving outwards, in a shape similar to the top/bottom of Ghidorah’s wings, and a center straight one, each particularly large and around thirty to forty meters in length. Two sets shoot out horizontally from his back, one on each side like wings, while a third comes directly backwards, being his own type of “back spines.” There is no flesh between each, but a rippling of air signifying the presence – and strength – of his magnetic field.
Due to his magnetic powers, his appearance can vary quite often. As more and more of his flesh is destroyed in combat, Renneth seems to prefer simply incorporating more metal into his body than raw regeneration, especially for massive wounds, and gradually becomes less and less organic. He is also capable of moving the metal around and inside his body THROUGH him, causing up to hundreds of spines to grow suddenly, disappear into him, shift all over to one side, limb, etc. He can even split parts of his body off or split himself around a center point temporarily, provided they don’t go too far away, and hold them floating within his magnetic field. He is typically accompanied by various defensive slabs of metal, whether the earth’s hematite or just chunks of civilization, ranging from anywhere from twenty to thirty meters in length and similar to his shoulder blades. These are used for tormenting enemies at a distance, poking things he doesn’t want to come near, or concentrating his field, and typically number around six or seven (this can be increased to around ten, though at this point he is more focused on manipulating them then his own movement).
Origin:
The alien inventors and creators of Insidious experimented with many things aside from regeneration. Like humanity now, they tried alternate forms of energy; various forms and focuses on illusion-based kaiju; and telekinetic based warriors. They were never able to create a type of mind-fighting kaiju with the environmental manipulation powers of the caliber they desired, so they switched to using magnetism, which, while arguably inferior, could meet their requirements. Renneth was the result, and soon became one of their flagship “star” monsters, sent to the front lines on Earth to be their enforcer.
