Despite the carnage and chaos worldwide, and even close by in some cases, life went on in Boston Harbor. Fishing trawlers came and went, making a living for their crews and their families, all the while providing food for the nation. Ships gutted their catches on deck and tossed the contents overboard, leaving a wake of bloody foam and sharks behind them as they moved through the Atlantic. But this time, something was different. The creatures that fed on the fish entrails scattered at once as a massive fin scythed through the waters headed straight for the nearest trawler. The crew scrambled as they tried to power away from the creature in the deep, but it was no use. The fin collided with the ship, tearing it open from bow to stern with a squeal of rending metal and hot sparks. Water poured into the wound as the vessel and its crew sank to the depths.
Carcharius had been slowly working his way north after crossing the jungles of South America. Nothing in those rivers was anywhere big enough to feed him, although whales and more were plentiful on the other side of the continent. And the closer he got to the Eastern Seaboard, the more blood he began to smell, as clouds of chum from fishing trawlers beckoned to him. Now, here he was, with the scent of death intoxicating him from every direction. The waters foamed and bubbled as people on the docks scrambled for their lives. Carcharius burst from the water like a torpedo from hell, splintering old wooden docks and ships that were tied up in harbor and capsizing more modern vessels. GDF naval forces stationed nearby opened up with their guns and missiles, but the explosions that peppered the beast didn't even phase it.
Carcharius bellowed as he rampaged through canneries and fishing boats alike, feasting on the veritable buffet spread before him.

On the other side of the city, Rosie waded through the streets. He smelled the shark creature and headed directly for it.

Carcharius stopped his rampage for a moment as he smelled a new prescense. It was dirty and smelled...like food. The mutant shark wheeled around to find Rosie, his soulless black eyes shrinking to slits as he bellowed at the newcomer, before rushing forward, faster than seemed possible, and clamped his massive jaws down on Rosie's shoulder. The walrus grunted, but apparently felt no pain as Carcharius ripped loose a hunk fo flesh and fur, before swallowing the bloody mess whole. Rosie rammed Carcharius with his fist, knocking the sharl back, but failing to deter him from his meal.
Rosie was about tor press the assault, when he noticed that the wound on his shoulder was bleeding rather profusely, when it should have began to taper off quickly. A thick, viscous goo ringed the bite, which contained a powerful anti-coagulant, which in turn was keeping Rosie's wound open for a while. Carcharius breathed in the scent of blood as he lunged again, this time going under Rosie's massive fist and tearing a bite loose from Rosie's thigh. The walrus only grunted again and lumbered forward, uninterested in the bleeding wounds in his body.
Carcharius's reach was a tad longer though, as the shark hybrid spun around and slashed Rosie across the chest with a bladed tailfin, leaving a bloody wound in the Klenthurian kaiju's chest. But nothing seemed to slow Rosie down as Carcharius bellowed and charged again, talons stretched out before him in an attempt to rend Rosie apart inch by wretched inch...

The walrus snorted and stepped back. The street split apart, swallowing Rosie's clawed feet as it gave way under his great bulk. The shark hissed as he slashed out, but, with a groan, the great walrus reached out. His fingers clamped around Carcharius' talons and squeezed, holding his hand. With the shark's own momentum carrying him still, Rosie lifted his leg out of the hole and turned around. He spun around around, still holding Carcharius' arm as his other flailed out to the side.
The motion sped up his already fast moving body. After the third spin, Rosie gripped the hand tighter, suddenly stopped his turning, and pulled Carcharius closer!
The creature didn't even time to roar.
Just before his body met Rosie's, the walrus' other arm came up, clotheslining the creature. The creature's body smashed head-first against the muscles and flipped over his arm. He landed head-first in a daze.
Rosie snorted in disgust and slowly turned around. He looked at his wound and shrugged, not even feeling the pain. The shark pressed his palms against the street and shook his head, clearing the cobwebs.
Rosie rolled his shoulders and snorted as he reached down. Before he grabbed the fallen shark, Carcharius burst to life. He rolled over, clamping his deadly jaws on Rosie's shoulder!
The walrus groaned as he backed away, pulling Carcharius to his feet with effort as he did so! The shark began to gnaw and chew, ripping the hard flesh. As he did this, Rosie's opposite arm came up, pressing against the back of his head, actually pushing the teeth in deeper!
By now a flow of crimson was coming down from the mutant's jaws and washing across Rosie's belly, staining his fur. Rosie, however, felt none of it. Carcharius then felt Rosie's other arm pressing against his mid-section, between his chest and stomach.
Without a sound or show of stress, Rosie rolled the shark on his body, making his jaws rip out of his shoulder, chunk of flesh and fur in tow. His body slumped in the air, tail dangled and leg kicked as Rosie showcased his strength to the world, holding the beast upside down on his shoulder.
The site, the combined height of both kaiju end-on-end, made the witnesses gasp. Rosie snorted, turning around and looking around as he watched the faces. Then, without a care, he fell back...
Buildings around the pair collapsed in heaps, spreading a wave of dust that slowly drifted upward in a mushroom cloud. The bang of the blow echoed for miles and the sheer force made buildings all across the city shudder.
It was the suplex of all suplexes.
Through the dust that spread out, Rosie stands up, rolling his bloody shoulders. His eyes follow one wound to the other. His hand was all bloody from the bite, the tail slash had stopped bleeding like normal. His shoulder wound, however, was bleeding ferociously.
The walrus glared and turned his gaze back to the impact zone that had, literally, made the ground crater around both their bodies, leaving a solid impact shape of Rosie and Carcharius. The attacks didn't leave much visible on the shark, but the insides had to be wounded.
That came to be evidenced when Carcharius coughed, spitting out a glob of his own blood. The walrus smirked and nodded his head. He walked forward and reached down, not giving his foe a chance to revive.
Taking the tail, just above the fin, he effortlessly yanked his foe off the ground. Its claws dug trenches in the Earth as his body was lifted horizontally with another show of brutish, nightmarish strength from Rosie. With a half-spin, Rosie released him.
The shark yelped in mid-air just before he smashed through the side of of Red Sox stadium! The arena crumbled around him, burying him a mound of rubble. The walrus rolled his shoulders, following the same path Carcharius had taken. His body was buried, leaving only his tail and everything below the knees visible.
He reached down again, grabbing the same area. With a pull, the debris exploded upward as Carcharius was forcefully ripped out from under the rubble. Rosie spun again, releasing the shark once more.......

Carcharius crashed down painfully to the pavement a short distance away, sending shards of asphault flying in all directions. But now, the shark was thouroghly enraged, his soulless black eyes contracting to mere slits as horomone production shifted into overdrive, enhancing the shark's strength, stamina, and, ultimately, his survivability.
Rosie beat his chest in derision, but Carcharius didn't care. He leaned his head back, bellowing to the heavens, before charging straight at Rosie. he walrus, anticipating such a move, tried to counter it like before, but this time, Carcharius went under the blow, sinking his fangs into Rosie's thickly muscled leg. Blood flowed freely as he ripped loose a chunk of flesh and fur, causing Rosie to stagger slightly, more from blood loss than pain. Carcharius swallowed his catch whole, and now that Rosie's head was in a more managable position, he slammed his jaws shut on Rosie's skull!
This time, the mammal bellowed as hot daggers of pain lanced through his head, drawing blood as the fangs scrabbled for a foothold on his enormously thick skull. Rosie slammed a meaty fist into Carcharius' gut, driving the shark back. But as his opponent fell, Rosie felt a ripping sensation in his scalp, and quickly saw the reason why, as Carcharius spat out a mouthful of mohawk hairs. The shark didn't care about hair though...he wanted MEAT.
Rosie bellowed in fury as Carcharius pounced, slamming his full weight against the walrus as talons and claws drew lines of red in the otherwise white fur of his opponent, all the while those massive jaws questing for the mammal's throat...

Rosie roared tremendously as the shark's head came lashing down. The walrus' warm, fishy breath blasted the creature's glistening skin as its jaws shot downward. Suddenly, however, Carcharius paused in mid-way. His head couldn't go anyfurther... Something wouldn't let it...
Its cold eyes moved down, only able to see the elbow to the shoulder. Rosie's right had shot up, its large hand wrapping around his throat. Rosie snorted and rolled its head as his dark brown eyes glared at the creature.
Pushing the shark's body off of his with his free hand, the walrus stood up without a problem. As his wounds bled, he held Carcharius like a rag doll in the air. His arms and legs flailed in the air, struggling to breath.
Rosie's other hand came up, aiding to the already powerful choke hold! The shark's eyes began to roll back as he tried to gasp. Foam began to form in the corners of its jaws as Rosie's powerful hands squeezed even harder, the claws now digging bloody lines on the back of Carcharius' neck.
With a snort, Rosie pulled the shark closer. Its black eyes narrowed and turned into slits as Rosie's own mouth opened wide and unleashed a booming war cry. The shark's jaws snapped open and closed, itching to bury teeth into the walrus' face!
As fast as he was pulled close, he was lifted even higher into the air as if he weighed as much as a feather. Rosie stepped back as then thrust his arms downward, dragging Carcharius with!
WHAM!
The shark was smashed back-first on the ground! The force in which made the ground split and crater, sinking the streets as blood poured out of Carcharius' jaws. God knows what shape his insides were like now...
Rosie didn't let go, however. He only softened his grip, allowing red blood to flow out of the shark's jaws more easily. As the creature groaned, it suddenly showed signs of life and thrust his head to the side, managing to sink his teeth into Rosie's arm!
The walrus snorted as he still pulled Carcharius back to his feet, blood stained teeth vanished in his fur. Holding on to his throat yet, Rosie spun around and then tossed the fish upward, the force of the throw making the predator's jaws rip free.
Rosie had time to roll his shoulders before Carcharius came back down. The walrus reached out, catching him before he hit. The shark landed in his hands, each raised upward.
Holding his prey above his head, Rosie slowly turned around. He bench pressed Carcharius over his head for all to see in a stunning show of brute strength.
After the third bench press, Rosie spun around sharply and dropped the creature so its body was vertical with his, but upside down. He then jumped forward, sandwiching the fiend between his body and the ground! The monster's screamed were silenced as Rosie's gut pressed against his head, enabling it to open its jaws.
With a groan, Rosie planted his palms on the street and pushed up. He quickly stood up and began brushing off his chest. He looked down, admiring the work on the manhandled kaiju, its limbs twitching and head rolling...

Carcharius' vision was somewhat blurred, but he didn't need to see Rosie to be able to track him. The smell of blood and fish surrounded the walrus, and lured the mutant shark to him like a magnet to iron. Carcharius groaned as he lifted himself off of the pavement, just in time to barely avoid a blow from Rosie. He could feel the wind from its passing. but that was about all he could feel. Rosie was bleeding heavily from the two bite wounds to the legs, as the anti-coagulant did its job. The smell intoxicated the mutant as he bellowed in fury and hunger, swinging his taloned hands at Rosie's midriff. The mammal grunted again as those claws tore ragged wounds in the thickly muscled flesh, doing more damage than a clean slash before theuy tore across the muscles.
Carcharius lunged again, ignoring a blow to the shoulder from Rosie's fist, as his pain recpetors began to shut down. His muscles bulged with added strength, and energy seemed to course through his very being, filling him with power. The more blood was spilled, the stronger Carcharius got, and the worse off Rosie would be. The shak sank his claws into Rosie's flanks, before ripping upwards, tearing bloody gashes in the flesh there, staining white fur red. Rosie igorned the pain, but couldn't ignore the fact that Cacharius was now bowling him over, smashing his face into the ground with one hand, while the other worked over his back and sides.
With his foe momentarily pinned down, Carcharius moved in for anothe rhead bite, blood, saliva and anti-coagulant dripping from his fangs...

Mere inches away from Rosie's face, the walrus came to life! His muscular arms easily moved past Carcharius' and squeezed the shark's head before his! The shark's jaws continued to roar, hiss, and roar! Each roar sent a spray of saliva into Rosie's face, making the walrus groan as he continued to press Carcharius' skull between his hands!
As blood began to flow from the shark's nose and eyes, and as its black eyes almost popped out of his skull, the walrus' head lifted up and smashed into the tip of its head in a massive headbutt!
Rosie released the shark's head just as the blow came, allowing the predator to stumble back, shaking its head as its hands came up, rubbing his impacted skull.
With a snort, the walrus sat up and then stood. Just as Rosie got to his feet, Carcharius charged and slashed across the walrus' large chest with his claws. The claws dug trenches in the thick hide and fur, drawing small streams of red before the other hand came down in to make a large X-shape on its chest.
The shark stepped back and then lunged forward, ready to bite Rosie again. The walrus side stepped and quickly lashed out, wrapping his large, bulky arms under the monster's arms. Before the creature could pull away, the hands of Rosie locked behind Carcharius' head, holding him in an escape-less Full Nelson!
As soon as he locked the hold, Rosie began to thrash! The shark's body was tossed like a rag doll as oxygen and blood was denied to his brain. The creature gasped as Rosie stepped back, keeping Carcharius' legs off the ground as he thrashed the beast around.
After more than a minute of the hold, Carcharius' body finally went limp, denied of oxygen. Roaring loudly with pride, the beast flipped the creature into the air and then smashed him hard into the street!
Rosie shook his bloody body as he looked down at the twitching predator...

Carcharius gasped for air as he struggled to stand, slowly extricating himself from the pavement. This mammal was tough, but not tough enough by far. Carcharius bellowed again as he shook the last of the debris off his hide and charged in again. Rosie's eyes widened at the overwhelming power of his adversary, as Carcharius tackled him to the ground, slashing blindly at Rosie's maimed chest. Already, the shark's own wounds were closing exceptionally fast, as he digested the bits of the walrus he had already bitten off.
Blood loss would take its toll on Rosie eventually, but not on Carcharius, as the mutant shark sank his fangs into Rosie's shoulders, pumping the wound fiull of anti-coagulant as Rosie smacked him upside the head repeatedly. Finally, Carcharius let go with a wet, ripping sound as he tore a chunk of meat loose.
rosie managed to dislodge his opponent, but not for long, as the frenzied fish pounced again, eager to eat his foe while the blood was still warm...

Carcharius jaws came crashing down and sinking into Rosie's tough hide. The walrus snorted, not even feeling what normal monsters would be screaming in pain about. The shark's head lashed up, holding a chunk of fur and flesh. No sooner than his head came up, Rosie's hand came up, hand clamping around his throat yet again.
The shark began to thrash, remembering what had happened when the walrus got hold of him.
This time, however, he screamed in pain. Rosie's other hand speared upward, dagger-like claws stabbing directly into his chest sideways! The shark's red blood flowed from the wound as Rosie's hand pulled out. With a cry, Carcharius backed away, looking down as three streams of blood combined into one.
When his head lifted up, looking back at his opponent, Rosie was already on his feet... and worst yet... He was charging!
The walrus' foot steps made walls of dust and debris fly upward. Like a pro football player, Rosie's body smashed into Carcharius! The shark's body bent over his shoulder as he plowed through a building!
Then another building... And another...
Dust coated the two fighters as the buildings fell to the ground behind them. The shark snarled and whined as large chunks and shards of debris stabbed into his flesh. Rosie finally stopped, falling hard on top of Carcharius as they crashed to the ground.
Sitting on top the shark's chest, his knees pinning the predator's arms down without a chance of escaping, the walrus' fists came up! Blow after blow came down on Carcharius' skull and snout! Each hammer-like blow making sickening cracking noises before streams of red began to flow from its nose and jaws.
After the 7th or 8th blow, Rosie stood up, rolling his shoulders as Carcharius' bloody, dented skull rolled side to side limply. His eye was swelling and the other was bleeding. As was his nose. Some teeth were chipped, others completely gone.
Snorting in disgust and spitting a wad, Rosie lifted his right, powerful leg and dropped it down, planting it on Carcharius' throat as he began choking again...

Carcharius, despite all appearances, was designed to be a damage sink. When Rosie's foot connected with his throat, the mutant fish merely wrapped both taloned hands around the mammal's ankle and pulled, toppling Rosie over straight into his waiting jaws. Even Rosie was hard pressed to ignore the hundreds of daggers lancing into his flesh, pumping his body full of anti-coagulant. Carcharius soaked in the scent of blood and savored every drop as it passed into his gullet. But before he could simply rip Rosie's throat out, the walrus managed to get a grip on his opponent's jaws, and with strength that defied Carcharius' own, he managed to pry them loose, tossing the shark aside before belting him with a nasty punch to the gut.
But Carcharius didn't wait to take another blow. He surged forward, feet scrabbling for purchase on the splintered concrete and ruins of shattered buildings. He plowed headfirst into Rosie, bowling him over and knocking out the side of another structure, before pouncing on him, claws raking bleeding wounds in Rosie's chest, drawing rivers of blood as Carcharius tried to bite Rosie's throat again. Rosie gurgled, but with blood mingling with the saliva in his throat...

The shark had again foolishly ignored Rosie's own strength. Pushing the beast's arms aside as if twigs, Rosie's arms clamped on the sides of Carcharius' skull and squeezed it, preventing it from moving an inch closer. Its jaws snapped widely, hissing and shrieking as he desired the walrus' blood. Pushing up with his legs, Rosie managed to push the shark back just long enough for him to, with surprising speed, roll to football-like pouncing pose.
The shark roared and beat its chest before charging. Rosie also charged.
The two met in a mighty boom. The fish's eyes widened as Rosie's hands wrapped around his thigh, pushing his stomach onto his skull as he pulled the creature over his back.
With a might roar, Rosie lashed upward and sent Carcharius flying directly upward... And what goes up must come down...
The creature belly flopped on the ground. It cried softly, groaning as it felt its breathing start to hurt. Rosie snorted and rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck. He approached the down kaiju and lashed out with his foot, kicking it in its wounded ribs. Then again. And again!
The final blow made Carcharius roll over and spit a wad of its own blood as he clutched its pain-filled chest. Rosie marched forward, ready to kick again when the shark suddenly bolted to life and lashed out, clamping his jaws around the walrus' ankle!
Rosie snarled in rage as the creature squeezed, drawing more of his blood. When he stepped back, he tripped over its outstretched arm, giving the shark and him both the same time to stand up...
And that they did.
Carcharius charged again just as Rosie lashed his head back and roared. He lifted his right leg, balancing himself on his left...
WHAM!
Carcharius' head smashed into Rosie's big boot. He was down in an instant, squirming as his eyes rolled and Rosie's foot came crashing down... aiming for his groin...

Carcharius managed to roll to one side, taking the blow in hsi hip. But even as he does, the blood he is losing and the damage he is taking ceases to matter, because eh does not feel the pain that Rosie would inflict on lesser monsters, nor do the wounds remain for long, as his regeneration heals them. Indeed, while Rosie continues to bleed all over the ruins of Boston, Carcharius wounds, both internal and external, are healing at a rapid pace. Soon, little but scar tissue and minro brusing remain.
Meanwhile, the scent of blood continues to drive the shark on, forcing him fulfill his need to feed. His resilliance catches Rosie off guard as he charges in again, tackling the behemoth to the ground before rapidly slashing at the mammal's chest, tearing ragged gashes in the muscle and flesh there as blood pours down in small stream, while bits of flesh go flying. carcharius thrusts his snout into Rosie's battered abdomen, before clamping his jaws down on warm flesh. Rosie mercilessly beats at the shark's head, but the mutant ignores the pain and bites down hard before ripping a chunk of flesh loose. Anti-coagulant mingles with the walrus' blood, making it almost impossible for the wound to heal on its own.
Rosie stares at the gaping wound in his chest, giving Carcharius a moment to slap him across the face, drawing more red lines in the fur, before raising both hands high, ready to slam them down on Rosie's head...

The two blows came down, bashing off Rosie's thick skull and bouncing him back. With a loud roar, the walrus pushed the predator back. It hissed loudly and spun, smashing its finned tail across Rosie's snout. The shark continued to spin, lashing out again. But on the final spin, Rosie's arms came up, catching the fin with a firm grip.
With a snort from Rosie and cry from Carcharius, the walrus pulled the monster to its knees before lashing it over his shoulder with ease.
The creature struggled, but it was futile. As quick as he was slung over Rosie's shoulder, the monster was forcefully smashed on the ground like a massive pancake. Blood again began to flow from Carcharius' mouth.
Rosie dropped the beast's tail and stepped back. He brushed his paws across his bloody wounds. He grinned. He may not have regeneration, but the wounds weren't nearly as bad thanks to his thick hide. His eyes rolled upward before he lifted his head.
He beat his chest, roaring loudly. Carcharius rolled over and groaned, something on his left side of his chest was pressing hard against his flesh, making a large bump.
The walrus lifted his hand and waved his fingers toward himself, telling the shark to bring it on again. The monster took a stand and hissed as Rosie stomped his feet to the side and bent down in what can be best called a football pose.
When Carcharius charged, Rosie did the same.
The two smashed together full-force, but Rosie's brute strength again came to play as the shark was again forced on his shoulder. Keeping him like this, Rosie stood up, pulling the shark further down so its snapping jaws bit his tail.
Standing tall as Carcharius' legs flailed over each shoulder, Rosie then fell back, smashing his back through Carcharius and pinning the fiend to the Earth yet again.
Rosie stood up, groaning in anger as he saw Carcharius still stirring...

Carcharius thrashed wildly, oblivious to the pain and the damage inflcited upon him. Even now, the wounds were healing, fueled by the chunks of flesh he was digesting off his opponent. Rosie reached down to grab and pound the fish some more, when Carcharius closed his jaws shut on the monster's wrist. Rosie was strong, but in his bloodlust, Carcharius was stronger, as he tanked Rosie forward, toppling him over before scrabbling onto his back.
The walrus tried to dislodge his foe, bit was unable to as Carcharius bit deep into Rosie's shoulder, pumping the wound full of anti-coagulant as he ripped loose another hunk of flesh and fur, swallowing the bleeding mess whole. Rosie finally managed to dislodge his foe and belted him one in the gut, doubling the monster over and forcing him to regurgitate the mass of flesh he had just swallowed. But all that did was make Carcharius even more pissed off, as he charged Rosie, uppercutting the mammal with the blades on both forearms, leaving a bleeding trail up Rosie's chest and neck, before attempting to slam both hands shut on the sides of Rosie's face...
