The doctor chuckled. Saberon leaned back in his chair and rested the back of his head on his hands. The scientist spun the marble beneath his finger. "Sulfuric acid encased in a nice, little glass ball." He answered, spinning it again, "Force of habit of carrying them around."

With the exception of Syphriss, who simply slouched further into his seat, allowing his head to fall all the way backwards with his neck reversed and a knowing grin on his face, none of the Deities showed much emotion at the meeting’s admittance of general animosity, though most of those who had been nodding and smiling before had become more grim-faced. As Saberon made his grim statement of reality, Zajen almost unnoticeably raised his eyebrow, not looking at the lizard ruler, but at his subordinate’s discomfort behind him.
As Ackert showed off his glass weapons, Zajen drawled, “If we’re all completely hell-bent on annihilating one another, that’s merely another reason to hasten to repair this Blaradon. Our main motivation in this alliance is to trade information and technology to enhance our own achievements in the sciences. It seems we all want to exchange those key features, even if only to destroy one another, and we might as well get started on that right away. We, personally, are not known for annihilating entire races, and will leave you all to each other in the aftermath of this. We’ll sift through the leftovers and finish learning what we can about this galaxy once you’re done. I’m sure we won’t be alone, but I’m of the mind anyone intelligent enough to stay out of the fracas will be open to less…conflicted negotiations.” He gave a nod to the Beyonders on his side.
Syphriss, still facing away from the center of the room, added, “Well, then? I enjoy watching infighting as much as the next person, but our friends the Beyonders and Molku here have made the point that it’s horribly inefficient. If any of us has some mutually unbeneficial backstabbing plan or hatred left, say it now.”
Folding his hands behind his forehead, he flipped forwards again, facing the races in the room. “I’ll start, won’t I?” Raising a finger, he allowed it to rove among the races in the room. “I like you…and I like you…I don’t know you yet, but if you’re mildly competent I’m sure we’ll get along fine…you spat fire earlier, didn’t you? An excellent evolution, I like you. You’re blue, I’m sure we’ll get along fine. I like blue races. You…I don’t like you. Nothing personal, it won’t stop me from working with you. My mind, at some subconscious level, just doesn’t like the way your face is arranged. I’ll get over it at some point.”
In the silence and blank stares that followed, even from within the Organization’s own forces, Syphriss leant back again, laughing. “There, now. That wasn’t so hard, was it? Anyone else? You won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t like me.” He looked amusedly around at all others. “I’ve got one,” the ground crew leader snorted near the Beyonders. “I’m of the mind that this sharing might end up being more one-way than we all think. There are clear…technological differences between all of us here. We clearly aren’t the most advanced, but I’ve got the distinct feeling that some of us just want the brief downtime to learn about the others and catch up. We are employing the skills of humans ourselves, but really…any race that employs a human to bioengineer leviathans with little to no extraneous powers in comparison to the rest of us, a human who employs glass balls, rather than a more advanced projectile, as a weapon without being extraordinarily physically fit…really has no call to such arrogance to the rest of us all.”

Saberon looked down at the table and moved his hands to his front. His black claws began to click the metallic table as he rolled his fingers on it. Most everyone was silent, all except the young Deity whom was snickering. The Klenthurian leader took a deep breath and cocked his neck before pushing his chair out and taking a stand.
Bobrazor looked up, obviously not intimidated. Saberon flicked his tongue and slowly walked over to the being, motioning him for stand up. He didn't.
"STAND UP!" Saberon demanded, shaking everyone in their seat at the depth and cruelty it only hinted it.
The Deity looked at the others whom nodded. He stood up, looking into Saberon's eye. No sooner than his legs straightened out, Saberon's right hand was quickly wrapped on the back of his head. In one quick motion, his head was smashed into the wall with a nasty thud.
The Deity wanted to slump down, but Saberon wouldn't let him. "You do NOT waltz into my world and proceed to mock and taunt me!" He declared, bashing his head into the wall again, "I have put up with you enough!"
The young one groaned, but wasn't able to speak. With another quick motion, Saberon threw him closer to his and Rudolph's seats. The other aliens were in a bit of shock of this random brutality.
Saberon's leg came up and threw itself forward, kicking the being in the ribs repeatedly. He then leaned down and pulled the young one back to his feet and showed him to the read. His head was almost dented in and was bleeding, and several teeth were now missing.
"THIS!" He shouted, "Is why we're famous!"
Saberon held him by the hair and yanked his head back. He then slammed it forward, Rudolph managed to move his hand just in time as Bobrazor's head smashed the glass ball. He immediately screamed as Saberon pulled his head up and allowed the others to watch as his flesh dissolved.
"Please..." The Deity begged between moans.
Saberon snickered and placed a hand on his face, careful to avoid the acid that was on his forehead. He pushed the head back, exposing the neck entirely. With a blood thirsty roar of savagery, Saberon's head fell, jaws clamping on his throat. He gorged, lapping at the blood as rivers of it began to fall from the neck and Bobrazor's mouth.
Ripping his head up, chunks of skin and muscle in his jaws, Saberon spun, keeping the Deity with him. He then released, throwing the alien through the glass window. It, expectedly, shattered, sending the now good-as-dead Deity falling 300 meters to his death.
Saberon spun around, catching the surprised looks of his guests. He brought up his left arm and washed it across his blood stained jaws, but only managing to smear the gore. He flicked his now deep-red tongue and walked back to his seat. Pulling it out, he sat down...
(OOC: Me and Hyper have been planning that forever now...)

Gat waved a tentacle slightly, making the wrangler Beyonders - large saurian creatures roughly the size and shape of the Klenthurians - form a tight circle around the other Beyonder ambassadors, with Gat himself in the middle. "I must say, I-I pref-f-fer diplomacy," Gat stuttered in an attempt to lighten the incredibly dark mood, "But I can't deny that brute force is very persuasive."

Dore-Ay gritted his teeth at the scene. His wife, noticeably shaken, was holding on to him, and the two guards in the room, while having the self-restraint not to train their weapons on Saberon as soon as the action started, were on a hair-trigger. “Kill him! Kill him now!” Dore-Ay thought. “Don’t even order your men to do it, just calmly get up, grab his neck, and snap it like a twig. His lacky’s will come after you, but your men will blast them before they get a chance to do anything. Kill him! He’s a megalomaniac and will be the end of us all! Kill him and assume command of the entire operation! No more senseless killing of Earthlings, that’s NOT the Bartosian way! Keep a planet as preserved as possible, and subjugate the population, THAT’S how we’ve always done it! KILL…HIM…NOW!”
Dore-Ay calmly stood up. But Yay-Ann did as well, perhaps knowing what he was planning on, and knowing that Bartosian men simply didn’t think of the big picture enough to know what kind of repercussions that kind of an act would have. She softly put her hand on his, and looked up at him with pleading eyes. In one instant, an entire conversation was communicated between the two. And Dore-Ay, like always, knew enough to let his wife handle matters like this. And so, with more restraint then he’d ever shown in his entire life, Dore-Ay took a seat.
“Lord Tchove” Yay-Ann said in a tone that suggested nothing more spectacular then a simple interruption had occurred “Now that that has been taken care of, shall we continue?”

The display of violence triggered something in Molku. Molku had not felt this emotion in so long. It was blood-chilling, bone-melting, muscle-snapping fear. Molku went limp. Although she was by far the largest in the room, she couldn't help but be intimidated by the show of force. Then her brain snapped into light-speed. Man had his own weaknesses and Molku remembered one of the biggest.
"While Blaradon is under construction I would like to propose a plan of action. To keep the humans busy and afraid we continue with kaiju attacks and city attacks. But we would also like to implement fear. In humanity's eyes my race is a race of demons so allow us to execute assassinations on key humans. Such as their holy leaders and their key leaders. And we shall do it publicly, humanity will be set into a chaos and disorganization full of fear and doubt. Would this be approved by the members assembled?"

Dore-Ay, still agitated, scoffed. "Kill kill kill, is that all you people know how to do? Have none of you ever attempted to actually subjugate a population?"
Yay-Ann again put her hand on Dore-Ay to calm him, but he would have none of it this time. He stands, pointing at Saberon "A Deity annoys you, so you kill him. Something goes wrong, and you kill the nearest underling. Has the thought never occurred to you to simply punch something and knock it out? Or are you too physically weak to do so?" adding a sneer to punctuate the last statement.

Saberon leaned back and began to laugh, drips of blood still falling from his snout. He slowly calms and looks back at Dore-Ay. He opens his mouth, but then closes it, choosing to respond differently...
"Well you smell funny." he remarks.

Dore-Ay's eye twitches, and he pounds the table. "I do NOT smell funny, that's a manly musk common to every Bartosian male!"
Dore-Ay sits back down. "You're all hopeless!" he says, throwing his hands up. He then leans over to Yay-Ann and whispers, in a light-hearted manner "I have an ouchie...in here" pointing to his heart.
As frustrated as she is, Yay-Ann can't help but chuckle.

Gat felt his entire body relax at the diffusion of the tense situation that had gripped the room. For a minute he was truly worried that a fight would break out - something he was rather opposed to. With Dhor Hra Zor in Russia fighting with the Deities' monster, his survival in such a scuffle was no longer guaranteed. Now that the mood had lightened, he could return to his normal, businessman-like demeanor. "Right, well, now that we've spilled some blood and traded joking insults, let's get back to making this monster," Gat said.

With a single exception, most of Saberon’s men seemed unfazed by the sudden bloodshed, Rudolph flexing his fingers inches away from a near miss and muttering, “Dammit, was it really necessary to break my balls?”
Despite the fact that it was one of their own that had just been brutally massacred, in contrast to the rest of the room, the Deities remained relatively calm on the surface. However, several small signs of tension were visible along the majority of the ground crew and subordinates. Safeties on various weapons were noticeable off, the firearms themselves halfway out of holsters, pockets, or other containers; aliens who had been reclining and making mental notes earlier were now sitting vertical; once bespectacled scientist even had something that looked suspiciously like an explosive device of some sort partially out of his breast pocket. Most of the eyes that had been watching Saberon previously during his talks had now shifted to the few Klenthurians and Doctor Ackert around the room, no doubt calculating if they could pull off what Dore-Ay wanted to do if things came to that point.
The pair of elder Deities were the only ones who hadn’t excessively shifted from their languorous positions in their party, though Syphriss was the sole member still of good humor. In the awkward post-death silence, the Bartosian leaders holding each other back, the Beyonders preparing themselves, and the Norveka trying to continue the meeting, a slow, dry, brief spat of applause was audible. Still leaning back in his chair, Syphriss finished one last clap and folded his fingers together. Slowly shifting his gaze from the ceiling to the broken window and the lizard ruler, the reality manipulator spoke, his voice for once a low, guttural hiss. “You have absolutely beautiful jaw and neck strength, Lord Tchove. If your entire race is as robust as you, then there really is no need to enhance you to peak capabilities. Were you perhaps a little…on edge from that insinuation?”
Saberon bared his fangs in return and laughed. “Well…I already did say I was one for overkill. And action drives concepts into the mind much more effectively than words.”
Syphriss snorted and leant back again. “You’re squandering my resources here, Saberon. Do you have any idea how small expenditure adds up? The energy and organic material put into cloning a body could be used on bioengineering more useful for these combative situations. And good men with actual skill are so hard to come by nowadays.”
“Not to mention diplomatic talent,” Zajen continued with a sweeping gesture at the entire room. A smile returned to his lips, though it was comparably thinner than before, his constant good nature falling back on forced humor in the face of events. “I assure you, we were all already aware of what the Klenthurian specialized in, Lord Tchove. You could have saved it for the human Olympics or the theater.”
One of his hands raised and flipped downwards, causing slight noticeable movements among the Deities who had just seen their comrade slain, tiny relinquishing of weapons and relaxations of arm muscles. One scientist who had been sitting beside the ground crew leader stood from the table and actually started several steps around the perimeter before Zajen slapped the table and shook his head. “Call me when our technology lets someone regenerate a three hundred meter fall. What are you expecting to see?”
The Deity took his seat as Zajen leaned back, removing his glasses and firmly snapping them closed, one side at a time. The rest of the races watched, waiting to see if any extra aggression would come from the scientists to rekindle the conflict, some fervently hoping against it, others willing it on. The latter were to be sorely disappointed at the moment; while not completely callous to death, it did not affect the Organization as much as others, due to their attempts at a logical viewpoint. Nor did a society of scientists bear grudges that would hamper efficiency with particular aggression or spontaneous action; they merely filed away potential dangers in the back of their minds and kept a closer watch on them. Finally, he commented, “I suppose, if anything, that this has served to emphasize our various motley talents. Since we all seem to have our own preferred forte, I would support letting each of us lead our own.”
“The destruction of human figureheads, in particular the religious and military leaders, might have the unwanted side effect of rallying them in fury,” Syphriss continued to the ceiling. “On the other hand, it would certainly be demoralizing and symbolically significant.” He turned his face sideways, raising a hand to the Bartosians. “Which might render them more vulnerable to swift and total subjugation. I’m sure you know this subject better than I do.”
Focusing his gaze on the bloodstained Saberon, Zajen cracked his knuckles and nodded. “Enough with these festivities. Are we going to get back to Blaradon or not?”

Before either Deity could respond, the room’s doors burst open and another Klenthurian, obviously female due to the brown and tan color scheme, rushed in. “We have a problem!” All the eyes in the room fell on her. “What is-“ Saberon didn’t get a chance to finish, the tower began to rock. Several of the leaders began to get worried and looked around, and then they heard it…
A god awful squeal or shriek like that no normal animal could produce. The female Klenthurian almost fell back as she looked at the window on the opposite side of the busted one. Saberon spun in his chair and squirmed. The rest of the group did also, and several began to shift in their seats. Rudolph remained calm and looked at the thing and smiled…
Its face was pressed against the thick glass. Its eight eyes reflected the group. It moved its head, making the sound comparable to nails on a chalk board as its hide slid against it. Drool fell from its jaws and washed down the tower as if rain.
“What the hell is that god awful, ugly thing!?” Gat demanded to know, not taking his eyes off the insect as a tongue emerged from its mandibles and licked the glass, leaving a wet trail.
“Manticore.” Syphriss answered before Rudolph, “My have you grown!”
The creature seemed to “bark” and looked around the room again, pressing its head against the glass even more, surprisingly not breaking it. “I knew he’d hatch any day now. Was hoping it wouldn’t be today.” Rudolph said, standing up from his seat and walking closer to the window.
Manticore seemed to grow happier. The scientist placed his hand on the glass, making the excited giant arachnid lick the glass with its wet tongue. “Disgusting.” Dore-Ay remarked, turning his seat around as the monster eagerly licked the glass and left long trains of gooey, and chunky at some spots, saliva.
The scientist took a step back and smiled at his pet. He held the glass ball in his hand, and then, at the shock of all, acted as if he was about to throw it. “NO!” Molku shouted as Rudolph pulled back and then pitched… But nothing happened, no shattering, no nothing…
But Manticore suddenly fell from the structure and flew off, turning smaller and smaller before vanishing from view and diving into the jungle that surrounds the base. Rudolph turned around and tossed the glass, acid-filled ball into the air and caught it as it came back down. He walked back to his seat, sliding a bit off to the side to avoid the dissolved part from the recent slaughter.
“Get a Big Fatter out there. He’s hungry.” He instructed the female whom nodded.
Saberon hissed and leaned forward. “Okay.” He said as if nothing happened, “Lets move back to Blaradon.”

Cracking under the sheer tension of the meeting. Gat let out a hideous hysterical laugh. All the other aliens looked at him, some with mild concern, others with an almost predatory curiousity. Gat suddenly closed his mouth, realizing he had been very foolish.
"Sorry," Gat finally said. "Sorry for the outburst. Just feeling a tad tense. Witnessing an execution, meeting with races that would all love to just kill each other as much as make an alliance, and suddenly the appearance of a rather... frightening creature. Just a little too much for my nerves. I apologize." While Gat's voice was regaining some of its earlier smoothness, inside he was packing even more. He had just made his race seem rather weak - a very bad move on his part that might cost him dearly. "Manticore is an impressive specimen. Somewhat garish in terms of looks, but looks are not always practical when it comes to designing a fighting monster." Gat shut his single eye for a few seconds, sighing to himself, and opening it again. "Sorry."
The others turned away from him and continued with the meeting, much to Gat's delight. At least there was some honor amongst them.

"Not to be rude and interrupt the coversation of this 'Manticore,' a rather outstanding kaiju as well, but all of these distractions have gotten us off topic a little. Our main focus here is to discuss 'Blaradon' isn't it?" Yestour said, giving a quiver to his gills.
"I think he's right, Lord Tchove, we do need to focus on this 'destroyer of galaxies' you call Blaradon. Enough distractions. What can we all do to help?" Balliston eyed the room as he said it.
